This position will perform tasks necessary for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of auxiliary equipment for OPPD s generating units at North Omaha Station or Nebraska City Station. This includes generating work orders, performing surveillance checks and rounds, equipment isolation, equipment performance tests, and providing support for unit operational activities. Incumbent is required to complete all training and necessary steps to progress through classifications from Helper to Auxiliary Operator and eventually advancing to Equipment Operator within three (3) years.
Responsibilities:
1. Support the ongoing and safe operations of OPPD s power generation plants to include but not be limited to water treatment, fire protection, intake structure systems, sewage lift, etc.
Assist in properly removing units from and restoring units to service when authorized.
Operate screen house and intake equipment and assist in all phases of operation as needed.
Utilize operator fundamentals and apply human performance tools to all job activities and operational tasks while on shift.
2. Supports all equipment and system maintenance of OPPD s power generation plants.
Assist in writing work orders due to equipment deficiencies.
Prepare tagouts and system isolations of equipment as necessary/assigned.
Inspect and provide log documentation of conditions and adjust temperature, flow, and pressure levels as needed.
Participate in and complete housekeeping duties to uphold station standards.
3. Participate as a member of the station s emergency response team including fire brigade and hazmat (Nebraska City Station).
Qualifications
Required:
+ Formal education with a minimum of a certificate in power plant or process control technology

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Communicate with customers, customers' nutritionists, and the feed operations team to enter feed orders for all CVA feed mill locations.
Understand the Central Valley Ag Credit Policy and work with the Credit Team as needed to ensure all customer orders are in compliance.
Maintains records for all incoming orders received by both email and telephone.
Manage customer rations, groups, and stage feeding plans to ensure feed orders follow either customer-provided or nutritionist-provided feeding protocols.
Understand the Veterinary Feed Directive (VFD) and basic medication protocols and adhere to all medication violation pop-up notifications in the FMM system.
Comply with VFD's received from veterinarians and upload and record in the GVL system in accordance with the FDA's VFD regulations.
Follow CVA Standard Operating Procedures in billing manufactured feed orders for all CVA feed mill locations.
Understand the Central Valley Ag Grain Bank Policy and work with Grain Settlement Specialists to move and apply grain bank against feed orders as needed.
Ensure all grain is appropriately applied against intercompany contracts during the billing process. Ensure all grain used in feed is purchased through the Central Valley Ag Grain Division or AgMark LLC.
Enter and manage customer grain, feed ingredient, and finished feed contracts in FMM and Merchant Ag.
Provide feed quotes to the sales team and the Pricing System Specialist as needed.
Update formulas and formula descriptions based on customer and nutritionist information in FMM as needed.
Provides timely customer service related to customer invoicing questions.
Assist Feed Controller as necessary in reconciling any invoice or statement discrepancies.
Maintains and promotes a safe work environment.
Performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Evaluate the information provided by the business borrower. Assist members, when possible, on business management and financial matters.
Verify the accuracy of business loan amounts and repayment terms on approved loan applications.
