ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The A&P Mechanic has ETOPS duties as defined in the ETOPS Policies and Procedures Manual (EPPM). Duties shall include, but are not limited to the following:
* Perform routine, non-routine and preventative maintenance in accordance with OAI manuals, manufacturers' manuals, FAR's and other established procedures to ensure timely release and continued airworthiness of company aircraft
* Mechanics will be required to sign for work accomplished including troubleshooting deferred maintenance items, and ensure proper recording of all maintenance tasks on company documents
* Mechanics will perform all tasks assigned by Lead Mechanics, Maintenance Control or higher management
* Properly tag all repairable components including reason for removal
* When exercising authority under RII provisions, Mechanic will be directly responsible to Director of Quality and Engineering
* Attend all training courses as assigned by any supervisor
* Comply with all company rules, regulations, and procedures set forth in company manuals and policies developed by supervisor
* Keep a constant watch for safety, excessive cost of labor duplication, ensure proper and adequate equipment is used, acceptable parts or components are installed and approved hardware or supplies are used
* At stations where a Lead Mechanic is available, coordinate all troubleshooting work requests and part requirements with Lead Mechanic(s), otherwise coordinate with Maintenance Control
* Coordinate with Maintenance Control or Lead Mechanics to meet incoming aircraft, review logbook for discrepancies, and plan any corrective action needed
* The Mechanic will be responsible for keeping the work area clean (including airport ramps) and may be required to maintain or repair company property from time to time
* When onboard company aircraft, Mechanics are representing the Maintenance Department, and thereby dress appropriately and present a professional attitude
* Perform duties significant to the Lower Minimums Maintenance Program (LMP) as specified in GMM Chapter 12
* Maintain an insurable driving record under Omni insurance driving guidelines
* Performs other duties as specified by Director of Maintenance
QUALIFICATIONS
* Must be willing to work 10-12-hour shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Position may involve some travel
* Regular attendance during regularly scheduled business hours
* High School Diploma or GED
* Valid A&P License
* Minimum of 3 years line maintenance experience on a B767/777 preferred
* Valid state issued drivers' license with clear MVR with no major moving violations within the past 3 years
* Must be able to pass a 10 year background/criminal/motor vehicle records check and pre-employment drug screen
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* High School diploma or GED (required)
* Valid A&P license
* B767 & 777 heavy/line maintenance experience and avionics preferred.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
* Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more.

The Inspector impacts PSA Airlines' business growth by repairing and inspecting aircraft repairs. In supporting the Maintenance and Quality Assurance departments, will ensure that safe and reliable conditions for employees and customers are maintained.

Compliance of company policies, procedures, Federal Aviation Regulations, and Airworthiness Directives that are applicable to aircraft or component assigned to him by the Chief Inspector.
Proper handling of all parts/components while in the repair process.
Ascertain that all inspections are properly performed on all completed work before it is released.
Coordinate with the Stores Department, when required, on the inspection of parts with obvious defects to determine the acceptability of the item.
Coordinate with the Quality Control Supervisor about calibrated tools that need to be sent out for calibration or repair.
Training and assisting other employees in proper procedures, methods, and practice to be followed in each respective duty.
Initiate proper paperwork for scheduled maintenance.
Inspection of all parts that are on the inspection cart to ensure the parts were received in correctly in accordance with the parts card.
Demonstrate a safe and compliant work environment by complying with the Safety Policy and Procedures Manual and GMM policies. Also ensure subordinates are following policies and procedures.
Make recommendations for possible adjustments in methods and procedures to increase safety and aircraft reliability.
Submit manual revisions as required for any identified ineffective process and/or procedure.
Provide oversight of all maintenance as time permits.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Control Supervisor, Assistant Chief Inspector or Quality Control Manager/Chief Inspector.
Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
In absence, the QC Supervisor will handle the delegation of duty.
Position Specifics Qualifications
Required
Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification.
At least two years experience in aircraft maintenance.
Completion of PSA Airlines Indoctrination training and General Familiarization (training qualifications accepted.
Must have or obtain Airworthiness Release Qualification within 120 days.
Must have or obtain CAT II Authorization within 120 days.
Competent in the use of required calibrated test equipment.
Ability to interpret and comprehend PSA Airlines work package instructions; ability to inspect and install parts/components.
Thorough knowledge of PSA Airlines manuals.
In good company standing (STEP 1 violations considered).
Good knowledge of FAA regulations as it pertains to the performance of aircraft maintenance.
Ability to interpret and comprehend internal and external technical data like Manufacturer's Manuals, Engineering Orders, PSA Airlines Work Documents.
Strong ability to utilize MS Office suite and maintenance software.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-functional environment.
Must be able to pass vision test for NDT endorsement.
NDT endorsements or be willing to attend next available class.
Borescope certification or be willing to attend next available class.
Capable of using respirators and other personal protective equipment including eye and hearing protection.
Must possess or have ability to obtain a U.S. Passport or equivalent within 90 days of starting position.
Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
Must be able to demonstrate authorization to work in the US.

Run-up and Taxi Qualified.

Provide support to Crew Resources in maintaining flight schedules during normal and irregular operations (IROP).
Establish strong relationships with PSA and Station managers, supervisors, Flight Attendants (FA), and Association of Flight Attendants (AFA) leadership.
Collaborate with all internal departments to ensure the highest levels of consistency and transparency.
Provide Inflight Services department policy guidance to FA's, staff, and AFA.
Conduct terminal visits to promote on time performance, and to convey visibility and transparency in everything we do.

What you'll be doing:
Work with customers and internal team members to deliver a high quality customer experience
Review, file, audit and process all customs documents
Coordinate the release of goods with carriers, CBP, and other governmental agencies as required
Maintain up-to-date customer records and customs compliance documentation
Review shipment ISF data and submit within the regulatory timeline
Review and monitor all customs rejections, requests for information and other correspondence
Provide clearance status as needed to the appropriate parties
Execute file billing in a timely manner
Develop and maintain customer relationships
Work predominantly with other departments within Total Quality Logistics for all customs needs.

Position Summary
The Inspector impacts PSA Airlines' business growth by repairing and inspecting aircraft repairs. In supporting the Maintenance and Quality Assurance departments, will ensure that safe and reliable conditions for employees and customers are maintained.
Job Responsibilities
* Compliance of company policies, procedures, Federal Aviation Regulations, and Airworthiness Directives that are applicable to aircraft or component assigned to him by the Chief Inspector.
* Proper handling of all parts/components while in the repair process.
* Ascertain that all inspections are properly performed on all completed work before it is released.
* Coordinate with the Stores Department, when required, on the inspection of parts with obvious defects to determine the acceptability of the item.
* Coordinate with the Quality Control Supervisor about calibrated tools that need to be sent out for calibration or repair.
* Training and assisting other employees in proper procedures, methods, and practice to be followed in each respective duty.
* Initiate proper paperwork for scheduled maintenance.
* Inspection of all parts that are on the inspection cart to ensure the parts were received in correctly in accordance with the parts card.
* Demonstrate a safe and compliant work environment by complying with the Safety Policy and Procedures Manual and GMM policies. Also ensure subordinates are following policies and procedures.
* Make recommendations for possible adjustments in methods and procedures to increase safety and aircraft reliability.
* Submit manual revisions as required for any identified ineffective process and/or procedure.
* Provide oversight of all maintenance as time permits.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Control Supervisor, Assistant Chief Inspector or Quality Control Manager/Chief Inspector.
* Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.

* Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification.
* At least two years experience in aircraft maintenance.

* Must have or obtain CAT II Authorization within 120 days.
* Competent in the use of required calibrated test equipment.

* In good company standing (STEP 1 violations considered).
