Objective The pilot in command falls under the flight crew division of the charter flight operations and is responsible for providing outstanding service to charter customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company procedures and FAA regulations. The purpose of the flight operations department is to provide safe, secure, convenient air transportation in line with client demands. The primary focus of the Million Air/American Jet International team is saving lives, which provides a unique life style option to the typical 135 pilot with extended trips away from home and family. The 135-charter fleet is made up of a variety of mid cabin aircraft. We will train in specific aircraft type with requisite hours. Responsibilities and Duties Work to ensure safety is never compromised, working with the safety manager Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner Develop a rapport with aircraft owners and passengers Inspect aircraft for cleanliness and upkeep prior to guest arrival Communicate often and in a timely fashion in person, by phone, and by email. This is a two-pilot account supported by a Maintenance Technician flying Part 135. EJM is proud to welcome this exceptionally maintained aircraft to our managed fleet! It's a strong addition to our Part 135 certificate, operating mainly across the U.S., Canada, Caribbean, and Mexico, with occasional trans-Atlantic trips. The aircraft flies 300 hrs/yr. shared between retail charter and the Owner(s). G450/V/550 type rating strongly preferred. Candidates without the type rating must have substantial flight time in Large-Cabin Gulfstreams, with extensive international flying experience. This is NOT a commutable position - pilots must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Houston area: * Applicants who are within a 3-hour driving distance to Conroe, particularly those in the Austin and Dallas-Fort Worth area are welcome to apply* The Pilot in Command (PIC) holds final responsibility to ensure aircraft is operated in a safe, compliant and efficient manner. The selected candidate must be able to travel and will be responsible for the delivery of pilot training courses through direct daily interface with Captains and First Officers of Flexjet aircraft as well as proficiency evaluations as directed. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Simulator flight training to Flexjet pilots * Classroom Instruction in all subjects * Assist in the development of courseware and training material to ensure a well-developed and accurately structured pilot training program * Support the development and certification of training curriculums including simulator, FTD and FMS training devices * Pilot Training Instruction - deliver exceptional initial and recurrent pilot training instruction * Deliver new hire and recurrent pilot training that addresses Crew Resource Management, Flexjet Standard Operating Procedures, Checklist Philosophy, Roles & Responsibilities, Performance goals, Forms & Records, Briefing/Debriefing methods and others.
