Description About the OpportunityAs a Linux Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our Linux server infrastructure and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). Job Requirements BS degree or equivalent experience. 2 - 4 years of advanced experience as a Linux Engineer capable of demonstrating expert-level Linux administration. In-depth knowledge and expertise in Linux systems preferably RedHat / Ubuntu Version Control: SVN, GitLab Scripting and Automation: Bash, Python, Ansible AWX Applications: SOS, Nagios, Jira, GitHub, Jenkins, Linux Kickstart, Cobbler, Puppet, Chef. EDA Applications: Knowledge of how EDA applications work would be a plus. Hardware: Preferred hands-on with Dell MX7000 Chassis and MX700 series blade configuration. Storage: NFS and ISCSI storage concepts. Cronjobs and rSync functionality Networking: TCP/IP, VLAN, DNS, Load Balancing and security concepts Virtualization: Experience handling Linux workloads' on VMware is desired. Annual base salary for this role in California, US is expected to be between $100,000 - $130,000.
