Function / Position Summary Each Network Radio Professional develops original and student-produced content for the U-46 radio station, WEPS 88.9 FM, on behalf of one of the five school networks. Network Radio Professionals create radio content in accordance with the programming guidelines set forth by the Senior Communications Specialist supervising the management of the station. This individual will ensure that content is developed in collaboration with students and positively features the district, its students, its employees, and/or its educational programming. Radio Professionals are highly encouraged to engage students in radio production through the establishment of radio broadcasting clubs and the recruitment of student members throughout the network. Job Duties / Responsibilities
Collaborate with students of varying ages and abilities to create radio programming that can be broadcast to highlight individuals and educational programming in School District U-46.
Develop an annual production schedule resulting in one hour of produced content per week from the network.
Submit radio programs for broadcast at least 48 hours prior to air time.
Attend regular radio broadcast planning meetings as scheduled by the station supervisor.
Ensure programming abides by all FCC and music license guidelines.
Other duties as assigned.
Education
Radio, communications, journalism or audio/visual technology experience preferred.
Knowledge of FCC guidelines and ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC music license guidelines is a plus.

DJ Teachers at Bach to Rock embrace a philosophy of well-balanced music education to inspire students to perform the music they love at local venues.
Essential Responsibilities
Deliver instruction in mixing and scratching on turntables/consoles using Bach to Rock's proprietary curriculum and specific methodology.
Deliver instruction in music production using Bach to Rock's proprietary curriculum and Ableton Live.
Manage classroom time effectively to balance student needs and attention.
Adapt to students interested in diverse styles (e.g., hip hop, pop, rock, house, oldies).

Knowledge and Abilities

Position Summary
The Board Operations Manager provides essential project management and administrative support to the Association's governance functions. This role ensures that AILA's Board of Governors and governance-related committees operate smoothly, efficiently, and with purpose, helping to guide and uphold AILA's policies. This role works collaboratively across departments to coordinate governance activities, manage documentation, and facilitate communication with Board members and committees.

Manage the collection, review, and publication of corporate records and meeting minutes for the Board and governance committees.
Draft, ghostwrite, and distribute communications to Board members and the wider membership as needed.
Oversee the collection and maintenance of Board member information, including voluntary and mandatory forms such as Conflict-of-Interest disclosures, surveys, and attendance records, in collaboration with the Governance Coordinator.
Facilitate the upkeep and development of governance documents, including bylaws, committee charters, policies, and procedural manuals.
Support the Finance team during the annual audit by compiling and providing necessary governance records and materials promptly.
Lead the annual elections process, coordinating all communications and managing the ballot distribution and collection.
Serve as a resource and point of contact for governance-related inquiries from Board members, committee members, and staff.

Committee Management - 50%

Provide support to additional governance committees and task forces as they arise.

Compensation and Benefits The salary range provided reflects a reasonable estimate of the annual salary based on AILA's commitment to equitable and market-competitive pay. Our compensation structure is based on industry-specific market data for similar-sized nonprofit organizations. Typically, individuals are hired at or near the starting point of the salary range for their role. What We Need:
We're seeking a Board Operator to provide programming and control board support to On-Air Talent
What You'll Do:
Operate control board for studios and remote programming
Regulate program timing, operate syndicated programming, and play commercials
Screen Phone calls for talk shows.
Monitor the technical quality and accuracy of incoming and outgoing on-air programming from master control room
Support off-air commercial production, dubbing music to hard disk and programming automation computers
Protect station's license by censoring live programs and deleting words/phrases not permitted on air
Execute playlists for server, tape, or simulcast programming
Assist with adjusting signal and programming content to ensure transmission meets federally mandated broadcast standards
Process time-out programming for accurate play back
Monitor and update weather, traffic and news reports into automation equipment
Check studio equipment for proper functioning and notify Engineering of technical malfunctions affecting quality of the broadcast
Screen in-coming phone calls and selectively choose callers for On-Air Talent and talk shows
Handle emergency inserts (e.g. news updates, breaking stories, alert system tests, etc.)
What You'll Need:
Flexibility in work schedule, including evenings, overnight and weekends
Comfort in a fast paced environment with tight timeframes and multiple demands
Previous experience in a related role and/or technical training
Experience with Microsoft Office, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
