Summary:
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts, in stockroom, warehouse, or yard by performing the following duties.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to support our transformer logistics operations. This role is critical to the efficient handling of transformers, including shipping, receiving, stocking, and staging for delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a valid forklift certification.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and stock transformer units, including 3-phase and high-capacity units.
Perform transformer receiving, picking, and staging for job site delivery.
Process Advance Shipping Notices (ASN) for incoming transformer shipments.
Escort delivery trucks and manage traffic flow within the facility to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Conduct transformer inventory cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy and reconciliation.
Perform space and safety assessments prior to staging transformer units.
Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to support timely and accurate transformer movement.
Preferred Certifications:
Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA-compliant)
Heavy Equipment Handling experience (preferred for large transformer units)
Hazardous Materials Handling experience (if applicable to transformer materials)
Basic Safety and First Aid Training (if applicable)
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.

Working Conditions:
