WHAT YOU WILL DO onX is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Corporate Development Manager to support and drive high-priority corporate development initiatives and acquisition opportunities. The Corporate Development Team is responsible for identifying, evaluating, negotiating, structuring, and executing acquisitions and investments that bring leading companies, technologies, and talent into onX. We guide onX's inorganic strategy through thesis-driven analyses, analyzing companies and industry dynamics and maintaining strategic relationships with startups, venture and private equity firms, and investment banks. The ideal candidate has 3-5+ years of high-caliber M&A transaction experience within an investment banking, private equity, or corporate development setting. In addition to substantial experience with the end-to-end deal process (i.e., sourcing through close), we're looking for someone with very strong financial and analytical skills, clear and concise communication, and high-ownership. Experience in one or more tech sectors is essential and in SaaS or consumer subscription is a strong plus. This position will report to onX's Director of Corporate Development. ABOUT THE TEAM onX Corporate Development is a major component of our long-term growth. We take a portfolio view across our business and work hand-in-hand with senior leaders and the Hunt, Offroad, Fish, and Backcountry teams to compound enterprise value. Our primary focus is strategic acquisitions, although we engage in select projects across the build/partner/buy continuum. Corporate Development shapes onX's future by identifying and executing high-impact deals and initiatives that expand our company's capabilities and reach. The team specializes in sourcing, evaluating, and closing strategic acquisitions, partnerships, and selective investments. The team reports to onX's Chief Financial Officer. The Corporate Development team is at the heart of onX's strategic initiatives, blending analytical rigor with creative problem-solving to fuel our growth. We thrive on navigating complex market dynamics, identifying transformative opportunities,developing thesis-driven recommendations, and executing with precision. Our success is built on a foundation of rigorous analysis, strategic insight, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. As an onX Corporate Development Manager, your essential job duties and responsibilities will look like: Perform financial analysis and due diligence for potential transactions, including acquisitions, major strategic partnerships, other selective investments. Analyze financial statements, historical performance, and forward projections to assess financial health, growth drivers, opportunities, and key risks of potential acquisition targets. Build and maintain robust financial models and valuation analyses to inform investment recommendations and decisions. Prepare executive-ready materials, including investment memos, one-pagers, board decks, and financial presentations. Conduct ongoing industry and market research to develop theses, identify trends, and surface opportunities aligned to onX's strategy. Collaborate with senior executives and cross-functional teams to align strategic initiatives with onX's corporate goals. Support deal structuring and execution (term sheets, diligence coordination, transition and integration, etc.). WHAT YOU'LL BRING Three to five (3 - 5) years of high-caliber transaction experience: Investment Banking (buy/sell-side M&A), Corporate Development, Private Equity or Venture Capital with hands-on execution experience (i.e. full transaction lifecycle). Sophisticated understanding of financial statements and related data analysis, ideally with familiarity in subscription-based business models and associated KPIs. Advanced financial modeling and valuation capabilities with comfort in building decision-ready cases and scenario analyses. Clear, concise written and verbal communication, including the ability to distill complex analysis into executive-ready recommendations. Strong analytical judgment and structured problem-solving, with high ownership and follow-through in cross-functional settings. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting, business, economics, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. HOW YOU'LL BE COMPENSATED onX is committed to compensating all employees fairly and equitably for their contributions. For this position, applicants can expect to make between $115,000 to $145,000 upon hire. In addition, full-time onX employees are eligible for a grant of common share options with a vesting schedule and a potential annual bonus of 10% based on company performance. The company also manufactures precast and prestressed concrete products, and operates three railyards that provide track space for transloading activities and railcar storage. The company operates its own quarries to produce its own aggregates, and has its own fleet of trucks for delivery of its materials. Responsibilities: · Leading and developing a team of employees with the company's Safety Department · Overseeing and updating the company's safety programs and safety goals. This includes implementing new and existing safety polices and protocol. · Representing the company in front of OSHA and MSHA representatives during any inspections and/or investigations · Conducting audits and inspections of company facilities to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations. · Conducting regular risk assessments across all operations, identifying vulnerabilities, and developing mitigation plans to minimize exposure. Collaborating with other departments to implement best practices for risk reduction. · Researching, evaluating and recommending changes to operations to improve the company's safety performance · Training company employees on safety policies and regulations. · Regularly reporting to company management regarding the company's safety performance · Developing proactive processes, procedures, systems, and metrics to drive continuous improvement towards reducing or limiting potential hazards at company facilities. · Other responsibilities as delegated and determined by senior management. Qualifications: · Bachelor's Degree, preferably in safety or a related field. · At least eight years of experience in safety fields · At least four years of experience in a leadership or management role · Prior experience in the construction industry is preferred. · Prior managerial experience · Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation is preferred. · Knowledge of OSHA regulations, inspections and investigations. Preferred to have OSHA “Train the Trainer” certification. · Knowledge of MSHA regulations, inspections and investigations is preferred. · Bilingual skills are preferred. · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail · Valid Driver's License is required Salary Range: Salary will be based on experience.
