As a Store Associate, you'll be responsible for merchandising and stocking product, cashiering, and cleaning to keep the store looking its best. I also knew that the upside of ownership would be much better than the alternative, which is associate dentist. Ownership would provide me financial freedom, being my own boss, keeping any profits that the practice made and, eventually, creating systems so that I could eventually hire people and sit back and operate the business. And so, I graduated and started my career as an owner dentist. Though there was an issue - student loans. I don't know how much you have, but I had some crazy amount like $550,000. Not only that, but my wife had about $500,000 as well (she's also a dentist). But that's not the scary part. The scary part is the interest. I was in the IBR program where you pay like the absolute minimum. And that's when it hit me. While I was paying the minimum, my principal balance kept going up. I did this for about 3 years without truly knowing what was going on. So yeah, I was making money and invested into real estate, but decided to just pay off over a million dollars in student loans. The point I'm trying to make is that being an associate dentist isn't what it used to be. Associates have student loans they have to pay (probably the biggest one), car loans, rent / mortgage, family, life, and the cycle goes on and on. And that's precisely why I'm trying to let as many associate docs know the value of ownership and opportunity cost. Though we averaged a little over 5 mil for our practices, the top owner doc produced $8,864,788 for the year of 2024. I guess he was impressed by the system, so he took over another CLD practice… and this is the doc that became an owner doc after 8 months of graduation. And to complete the range, the bottom number is $1,958,239 while we had one full time and one part time doc on site (four days a week). I own this practice, but didn't have to work in it the whole year and still made this much. These are truly achievable results because, well, we did it and you can come to meet us whenever. And yes, it sounds too good to be true because I feel it too as I'm writing this. But you'll just have to see it for yourself. We're a legit company and we're here. In fact, we have something called "Item 19" in our Franchise Disclosure document. It's a public, legal document where it shows how much we've made each month for the whole year of 2024. The position reports to an Order Management Team Leader. + Develop and maintain positive working relationships with both internal and external customers. + Answer queries via phone, e-mail and other digital methods regarding parts orders. + Work with other customer associates of different levels as well as other functional groups to ensure that customer's questions and concerns are answered timely and thoroughly. + Provide direction and training to other team members as needed. + Participate in customer service-related projects such as MDI (Monitoring for Daily Improvement). + Answer a wide variety of questions from internal and external customers in the form of phone calls, emails, instant messages, and other digital means. + Check availability of parts or units, find component match-ups, and verify pricing. + Identify common parts using available tools and coordinate resources for complex requests. + Locate parts, and process orders on behalf of external customers. + Work with multiple suppliers to expedite orders. + Work with planning, operations, and the field to ensure that promise dates are met. + Manage assigned open orders, monitor reports, and act on the information to ensure customers are kept informed of their orders. + Interface with cross-functional stakeholders as necessary to meet the customers' demands. + Exemplify proper judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making with a friendly and professional attitude, while always keeping the best interest of the customer and the organization in mind. + Assist in and support the development of process improvements and continuous learning. + Other duties as assigned by Order Management Team Leader's. **What you will you bring:** + Must be a second-year, full-time student in a 2-year accounting, finance, management information systems, business administration, computer science, or related program OR entering junior or senior year in a bachelor's degree program in accounting, finance, management information systems, business administration, computer science, or related program. + Ability to work approx. 20 hours/week during school and 40 hours/week during Summer & Winter breaks (or other breaks if applicable). + Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently. + Must be able to perform and/or understand basic data analysis. + Must be able to work well and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment. + Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. + Strong customer service skills required. + Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) required. + Must have a positive attitude and be energetic and customer centric with a focus on building relationships with customers, teammates, and other functional teams. + Ability to prioritize work based on customer need and multi-task in a high volume, transactional environment required. + Must maintain professionalism at all times with customers, coworkers and other functional teams. **Compensation:** Base Pay: $15.00 - 30.00 per hour Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages.
