The Role:
The Case Management Assistant will provide administrative support to the foster care team and facilitate parent-child visitation, ensuring timely communication, documentation, and coordination of services for youth in care and their families.
Responsibilities:
Schedules meetings and visits with youth and family, communicating directly with involved parties.
Obtains required reports and case documents from families and service providers.
Receives and responds to routine requests for information and documents.
Receives and responds to routine inquiries from youth and family and/or the public by telephone and/or correspondence regarding case information, services, and/or programs.
Provides clerical assistance at child-family team meetings and hearings by taking notes, providing follow-up questions to case managers and the youth and family, and keeping track of documents.
Maintain youth and family files and case information.
Communicates with agency staff for the purposes of coordinating case information.
Requires knowledge of typical child and adolescent development and an understanding of trauma exposure and traumatic stress signs and symptoms.
Participate in agency meetings and training.
Participate in the development and implementation of continuous quality improvement.
Uses active and reflective listening skills and affirmations to demonstrate respect and empathy, avoiding negative and derogatory labels that foster disrespect.
Understand that behaviors, responses, attitudes, and emotions are a collection of survival skills often developed in response to traumatic experiences.

Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent, 1-2 years of college education or associate's degree preferred.
Experience working with youth in an educational setting, who present behavioral, educational and emotional challenges preferred.
Social service, advocacy, or educational experience; working with foster care or similar programs and services a plus.
Ability to pass DCFS required criminal background check including CANTS/SACWIS and SORS.
Valid Illinois driver's license with acceptable driving record; insured and reliable transportation, as the position will be split between Villages and will be involved within the communities.
Willingness to travel within the community and to the various agency sites.
Ability to work flexible hours including evening and weekends. Schedule may regularly be later mornings to evenings on weekdays and weekends depending on activities scheduled. Schedule to be finalized with the supervisor.

The Role:
Responsible for the day-to-day supervision and guidance of In Home Family Services Program (IHFS), and program staff, at a One Family Illinois' Casa Tepeyac. Provides oversight of in-home intervention to children and families utilizing a cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused model to help families adopt positive solutions to problems through teaching of skills and behavioral techniques and accessing community resources and support.
Responsibilities:
Assumes all supervisory/fiduciary/and administrative responsibility for the IHFS Program.
Responsible for all aspects of service delivery for youth and families in the program.
Oversees referrals, caseload assignment, intake and termination of services within the IHFS program.
Provides and documents regular supervision to Family Support Specialists and Program Assistant. Completes observations of staff for quality assurance purposes.
Trains staff in all aspects of service delivery including intake screening and assessment; identifying treatment goals; developing service plans; group development and facilitation; and preparing clients for discharge from program.
Maintains small caseload of IHFS clients, providing direct services as needed based on screening, assessment, and service plan.
Oversees implementation of psycho-educational groups; support groups; and educational groups for children, adolescent, and adult populations served.
Ensures all required documentation is completed, in accordance with DCFS database and billing procedures.
Reviews and approves all assessments, service plans, and discharge summaries. Reviews case notes. Facilitates quarterly file audits.

The Role:
The General Maintenance Worker will assist One Family Illinois Director of Facilities with the maintenance and equipment needs of One Family Illinois buildings and grounds in a manner consistent with quality and long-term preservation of the facilities/grounds.
Responsibilities:

Maintains safe work procedures by erecting scaffolds, ladders and safety barriers, as directed.
Maintains cleanliness of all public and administration buildings and outbuildings, and the upkeep of grounds which includes, but is not limited to: lawn care, salt spreading, snow removal, trash pick-up and removal and landscaping.
Helps ensure the appropriate use and proper care of agency vehicles including but not limited to: changing bulbs and fuses and taking vehicles in for service.
Assists with set-up and take down for meetings and special events, provides assistance with the pick-up and delivery of donated items, and with holiday and special events that may include some evening hours and some weekends.

The Role: The Clinical Therapist is responsible for providing professional oversight to all aspects of clinical services for the RISE UP program and their assigned school including providing assessments, interventions and psycho-social-educational therapeutic services to One Family Illinois (One Family) and Community, children, families and groups.

• Provide a minimum of 22 workshops for parents/guardians from assigned schools to provide support and psychoeducation focused on related topics.

The Role:
The Business Manager helps with financial, vehicular/transportation, and purchasing functions under One Family Illinois (“OFI”) for Chicago Village and Roosevelt Square Village foster care programs and services, including on the Villages (Chicago area sites) and the community. They may also assist with Accounts Payable functions at our downtown location.
Responsibilities:
Assists with monetary transactions to ensure proper internal controls are in place, maintained, and complied with at all times, e.g., petty cash, Due to OFI collections and monetary donations.
Assists with processing on-site check requests.
Trains and works with Foster Parents to effectively and efficiently manage their foster home accounts and finances by providing training and oversight on budgeting, home account administration, computer functionality, and appropriate software.
Assists with preparing and reviewing reports and submits journal entries to Finance.
Assists Village Directors of Programs & Services, HR, IT, and Facilities staff in inventory/tracking, collection, and distribution of OFI property, software, finance, and facility access, e.g., bank account access, cell phones, computer, gas cards, keys, and foster home assets, for new hire Foster Parents or their temporary/permanent departure.
Acts as primary liaison and facilitator for Foster Parents on issues related to OFI owned, rented, and/or leased vehicles.
Maintains vehicle list including current status reports for each vehicle, a schedule of regular maintenance (e.g., oil changes tune ups etc.), and monthly inspections. Additionally, monitors fuel cards & usage, and safety equipment for each vehicle.
Purchases transportation and bus cards as needed (backup).
Reports and addresses accidents and claims to insurance.
Ensures the day-to-day operations are running smoothly (support services, supply ordering, etc.) and anticipates/communicates future necessary improvements and furniture/home needs.
Attends OFI general and Village staff meetings to communicate achievements, collaborate on challenges and effect solutions. Attends in-service education/training and individual meetings in consultation with the Chief Financial Officer.
Assists with analyzing and documenting processes and developing solutions that effectively and efficiently leverage OFI resources.

Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree with coursework in business management, organizational management, accounting, and/or finance preferred. Coursework in social or human service is considered beneficial.
One or more years of relevant experience in either a small business or social service. Non-profit experience preferred.
Working knowledge or experience with account reconciliation, bookkeeping, budgeting and payroll practices preferred.
Software experience/knowledge in the following areas preferred:

Becoming a Relief Parent with One Family Illinois is a rewarding part-time commitment suitable for a diverse array of adults. The Role:
Responsible for the day-to-day supervision and guidance of In Home Family Services Program (IHFS), and program staff, at a One Family Illinois' Casa Tepeyac. The Role:
The General Maintenance Worker will assist One Family Illinois Director of Facilities with the maintenance and equipment needs of One Family Illinois buildings and grounds in a manner consistent with quality and long-term preservation of the facilities/grounds.

The Role:
The Business Manager helps with financial, vehicular/transportation, and purchasing functions under One Family Illinois (“OFI”) for Chicago Village and Roosevelt Square Village foster care programs and services, including on the Villages (Chicago area sites) and the community. They may also assist with Accounts Payable functions at our downtown location.
Responsibilities:
Assists with monetary transactions to ensure proper internal controls are in place, maintained, and complied with at all times, e.g., petty cash, Due to OFI collections and monetary donations.
Assists with processing on-site check requests.
Trains and works with Foster Parents to effectively and efficiently manage their foster home accounts and finances by providing training and oversight on budgeting, home account administration, computer functionality, and appropriate software.
Assists with preparing and reviewing reports and submits journal entries to Finance.
Assists Village Directors of Programs & Services, HR, IT, and Facilities staff in inventory/tracking, collection, and distribution of OFI property, software, finance, and facility access, e.g., bank account access, cell phones, computer, gas cards, keys, and foster home assets, for new hire Foster Parents or their temporary/permanent departure.
Acts as primary liaison and facilitator for Foster Parents on issues related to OFI owned, rented, and/or leased vehicles.
Maintains vehicle list including current status reports for each vehicle, a schedule of regular maintenance (e.g., oil changes tune ups etc.), and monthly inspections. Additionally, monitors fuel cards & usage, and safety equipment for each vehicle.
Purchases transportation and bus cards as needed (backup).
Reports and addresses accidents and claims to insurance.
Ensures the day-to-day operations are running smoothly (support services, supply ordering, etc.) and anticipates/communicates future necessary improvements and furniture/home needs.
Attends OFI general and Village staff meetings to communicate achievements, collaborate on challenges and effect solutions. Attends in-service education/training and individual meetings in consultation with the Chief Financial Officer.
Assists with analyzing and documenting processes and developing solutions that effectively and efficiently leverage OFI resources.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree with coursework in business management, organizational management, accounting, and/or finance preferred. Coursework in social or human service is considered beneficial.
One or more years of relevant experience in either a small business or social service. Non-profit experience preferred.
Working knowledge or experience with account reconciliation, bookkeeping, budgeting and payroll practices preferred.
Software experience/knowledge in the following areas preferred:
Accounting software
Microsoft Office
Payroll software (ADP preferred)
Working knowledge of fixed asset administration.
Strong professional interpersonal skills including team building, team collaboration, excellent verbal and written communication and the capability to effectively and responsibly represent OFI internally and externally.
Sensitivity to cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of clients and staff.
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information by divulging the contents of same only as authorized.
Background check including CANTS/SACWIS and SORS.
Valid Illinois driver's license with acceptable driving record; insured and reliable transportation.
Ability to work in an alcohol, tobacco, drug, and firearm-free environment.

The salaried rate ($25,000/year base salary plus bonus potential pending eligibility) is offered as part of a full benefits package for the full-time Foster Parent position that is not offered to part-time Relief Parents or Foster Parent Trainees (who are paid at an hourly rate of $16.20/hr.). One Family Illinois is looking for dedicated individuals to act as one on one or small group tutors for youth ranging from 1st grade through high school. While some students will arrive with homework, those who do not will work on supplemental practice work built by the tutor in collaboration with OFI staff. Tutoring takes place once a week during the school year for approximately 2 hours. Hour one is spent on homework, reading, or tutor lead learning. For the second hour, tutors spend 30 minutes in more of a mentoring capacity, getting to know there youth better through anything from board games to building model rockets. The final 30 minutes focuses on reflection and discussion with your fellow tutors and One Family Education staff.
We are looking for individuals who are eager to build relationships with youth and model a love of learning. Tutors must be reliable, creative, patient, and self-motivated. Experience working with youth is required and an understanding of youth who have experienced trauma is preferred. Tutors must be able to submit to a background check, provide a negative TB test, and provide proof of COVID vaccination. Tutors also must be able to commit to weekly tutoring sessions throughout the school year.
