Core Job Responsibilities Delivery of Radiation Therapy Administer prescribed dose of radiation therapy under the direction of a radiation oncologist, in accordance with regulatory standards and hospital policies, practices and procedures, including but not limited to: • Positions patients for radiation therapy treatments with accuracy; utilizing image guidance. • Simulates patients under the guidance of radiation oncologist and make custom immobilization devices. • Performs daily quality assurance checks on linear accelerators and CT/simulation • Ensure that all applicable treatment information and quality assurance checks; regarding the proposed treatment plan is correct before the start of radiation. • Trains and supervises students during their clinical rotation, and or shadow program; Orient new radiation therapist and act as their mentor. • Acts as a consistent team member with patient care as the priority. Effectively rotates as needed with seamless efficiency. Able to treat efficiently with all radiation therapists • Able to effectively communicate with Radiation Oncologist, Dosimetrist, Physicist and support team. • Adheres to punch in/punch out policy. PEAR reports for missed punches are signed by supervisor before the end of the pay period • Correctly identify patient in ARIA and accurately deliver the treatment to correct patient. Job Responsibilities: Work in partnership with plant management team to utilize equipment to improve employee safety, production quality, equipment reliability, and overall equipment effectiveness utilizing continuous improvement techniques and a Management Operating Structure Manages the maintenance and technical needs for the facility. Utilizes mechanical and electrical expertise to maintain production systems, utilities, buildings, and grounds. Utilizes a computerized maintenance management system (SAP) to optimize asset utilization through scheduled preventative maintenance Effectively supervises the maintenance inventory clerk as it relates to purchasing of parts and part inventory to ensure budgets are adhered to and the plant is adequately stocked with the appropriate levels of parts, supplies, and maintenance consumables. Lead and manage all activities and functions of the plant's Maintenance Department including interfacing with maintenance staff and cross-functional teams in trouble shooting equipment, electrical, mechanical and facility problems; following GMP's and food safety standards as needed to improve plant performance. Support capital projects, coordination with contractors, sub-contractors, and suppliers in coordination with the engineering team. Responsible for identifying productivity improvements across manufacturing operations using fact based root cause analysis to develop and implement engineering solutions. Shares and implements “best practices” within the Maintenance Department and partners with other departments to ensure plant operations are performing at acceptable performance standards. Plan and oversee all repairs, preventive maintenance and installation activities. Schedule, train, supervise and motivate employees for the maintenance department. Supervise and coach maintenance staff through communication and training programs, complete performance evaluations, and provide feedback to direct reports. Ensure no physical, chemical, or microbiological contamination of food occurs. Required Skills/Qualifications: Degree from a vocational/trade school in Maintenance or BS/BA in business administration 5 years of progressive maintenance experience of a food manufacturing/production facility dealing with project work, preventative maintenance, administration, maintenance workforce management Working knowledge of Food Safety Principles, Good Manufacturing Practices, Environment Protection Agency and OSHA Requirements. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer-based applications. SAP, a plus. Union experience preferred where collective bargaining exists. Experience leading and following safety/security policies and procedures. Ability to follow all sanitation and quality policies and procedures, and report and follow through on any deficiencies.
