**The Role**

+ Lead innovative solutions to gain more value from credit bureau tradeline data

+ Partner with other leaders to define business priorities, align talent and resources and communicate progress to executive management

+ Leverage traditional regression models and machine learning algorithms to understand the key drivers and estimate customer behaviors

**Qualifications**
+ Master's Degree in a quantitative discipline (Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Business Management or Computer Science)
+ 4+ years of model development experience in a large institution preferred; PHD degrees may offset experience.
+ Knowledge of modeling techniques and methods such as decision trees, neural networks, XGBoost, and complex regressions preferred
+ Superior communication skills with the comfort to interface with all levels of management

3 or more years of progressive responsibility as an engineer on development teams directly responsible for building and delivering software-intensive systems.
Complete SDLC Project Knowledge
Experience delivering customer-facing legacy applications in IBMi Cobol
Knowledge of iSeries API's, Data queues, User queues, multithreading, Journaling and IBM iSeries file systems such as Library based system etc
Proficient in building and consuming RESTful APIs
Proficient in managing multiple tasks and consistently meet established timelines
Experience integrating APIs with front-end and/or mobile-specific frameworks
Strong collaboration skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Financial Services experience and Credit Card experience a big plus.
Exposure to principles of planning, organizational change management, resource allocation, leadership techniques, and team coordination.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with modern software development methodologies and tools.
Lead the definition of system architecture and detailed solution design that are scalable and extensible
Collaborate with cross functional team and other engineers/developers on different permutations to find the best solution possible
Lead a project/program from initiation to delivery and warranty.
Flexible and willing to accept change in priorities, multitask as necessary
