The Measurement-Manager Engineering, Natural Gas Technical Support provides strategic and operational leadership for the Natural Gas Technical Support team within the Measurement organization. This role leads a team dedicated to ensuring accurate and reliable natural gas measurement across our operations. The Senior Field Training Specialist will provide safety, regulatory and job improvement skills training for process and pipeline personnel. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Determine the initial training requirements for each employee and contractor personnel and ensure that all training is completed satisfactorily in pursuit of new employee development. * Provide safety, regulatory, and job improvement skills for personnel in plants, terminals, pipelines and Control Centers. * Complete an analysis to determine area training needs. * Maintain qualification training schedules and administer refresher training. * Develop and deliver training to support needs analysis. * Maintain all training documentation, including initial and refresher training records, outlines of training courses, training schedules, etc. * Instruct in a classroom and/or remote setting. * Routinely develop training materials using multiple forms of software. * Participate as needed, in assimilating new assets into Corporate Training systems. * Coordinate and cultivate inter-department support/ interaction as needed. * Promote and champion corporate training systems and services. * Coordinate and work with Management. The Measurement Services Specialist will work in cooperation with and in support of the various Measurement & Material Balance groups, Field Measurement, and Operations to ensure compliance with approved measurement standards, specifications, policy and procedures for all new installations, upgrades, and major repairs of measurement equipment. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Perform tasks of a technical nature associated with measurement systems through troubleshooting and repair. * Provide design and operational support for measurement equipment such as meters, provers, samplers, etc. * Perform reviews of gain/loss issues as reported by the Material Balance groups. * Work as part of a team to research and investigate material balance issues for assigned assets. * Perform witnessing/audit activities to ensure the quality and compliance of measurement systems. * Develop and maintain the measurement standards, procedures, and policies used company wide. * Conduct training in a classroom setting and in the field. * Cross-train on all equipment and product types that will be seen or used for measurement systems. The Maintenance Planner will plan and schedule weekly maintenance work schedules for the Plant Facility. The Lab Trainee Specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Performing laboratory analysis (primarily gas chromatograph) for custody quality measurement and product quality control. * Performing wet lab bench chemistry analyses but not limited to color assays, copper strip corrosion testing, RVP, chloride/fluoride/NH3 testing in LPG samples, moisture analyses meter and coulometric, pH, and titration analyses. * Qualified Candidate will initially provide support to the MB Lab by maintaining cylinders, including replacing consumables, i.e. valves, tips, leak, and pressure testing. This is an Assistant General Counsel position at Kinder Morgan, with responsibility on a day-to-day basis for land and right of way transactions related to Kinder Morgan's business segments (including its natural gas and products pipelines business segments), and other land matters. The core responsibilities of this position include the drafting, review and negotiation of a wide variety of real estate documents including (i) pipeline and surface easements, rights of way and related amendments, limitations and assignments; (ii) access and temporary workspace agreements; (iii) pipeline crossing agreements, encroachment agreements, and license agreements with governmental agencies; (iv) reimbursement and pipeline relocation agreements; and (v) deeds, bills of sale, quitclaim agreements and other assignment documents and instruments, including review of title commitments and surveys. Other responsibilities include communicating with landowners regarding Kinder Morgan equipment and facilities, infrastructure project support, and litigation surrounding land condemnations, including motions for injunctions and TROs. This position will be responsible for supporting, from planning to restoration, various engineering and construction projects, as well as operations projects. Work will include a variety of smaller operational type permitting projects, to larger multi-state FERC 7(c) efforts that are both capital and expense related. Jobs duties will include overseeing the acquisition of relevant permits/clearances and overseeing various consultants' work to secure such permits/clearances. Thorough knowledge of all applicable rules and regulations and attention to detail while managing multiple projects in variety of different locations is required. This position will be a part of a team that works from project estimation through construction/restoration and permit close-out. The candidate will track, report, and be responsible for project budgets and timelines and inform the Project Team of variations impacting a project's execution. Additionally, this position will ensure compliance with permit conditions, FERC and other agency regulatory requirements and/or conditions, and construction compliance. This position will report to the Supervisor of Environmental Permitting and will have direct visibility to various Boardwalk disciplinary teams. The position will provide assistance in the selection and direction of various environmental contractors/consultants, review and approve their work, interact with various regulatory agencies, and prepare and submit a variety of documents and reports. The position requires excellent verbal and written skills, and the ability to oversee and manage many projects concurrently. Excellent communications skills are required. The majority of work will be within the Corporate Office in Houston; however, travel may be required to field locations for projects, agency meetings, and trainings and presentations to the various Boardwalk functional groups across the states that Boardwalk operates. REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE: Experience with the Natural Gas/Pipeline Industry. Competent skills in professional written and verbal communication. Participate as a member of multidisciplinary team(s) for various simultaneous projects. Minimum of four (4) years of environmental experience related to securing permits for wetlands, coastal zone management, endangered species, cultural resources, and hydrostatic discharges. Ability to maintain/meet multiple projects/deadlines. State, federal, and local Permitting experience. Ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative team environment. Able to travel up to 25% of the time PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE: Experience managing FERC 7c projects Experience writing and reviewing FERC documents and Resource Reports to satisfy all FERC requirements. Experience writing and reviewing NEPA documentation. Familiarity with construction related aspects of pipeline projects including site visits, inspections, restoration and adherence to the FERC Plan and Procedures. Expertise related T&E species regulations and permitting. Expertise related to Historic Preservation regulations and permitting. Expertise related to wetlands and Coastal Zone regulations and permitting. Knowledge of hydrostatic testing regulations, permitting, sampling, and agency notifications.
