Free coffee. Coworkers are nice before they inevitably leave for a better employment opportunity. Sometimes (rarely) get free lunch or donuts.
No room for career growth as all leadership positions are filled from hiring outside of the company. No longer giving substantial raises for hard work, 3% annually at most. Remote work has been extinguished, which was a huge perk of working here. Many amenities and incentives have been removed like massage chair room, breakfast from Panera on Fridays, company trips/cruises, etc even though the employees have delivered record sales almost every month. Unless you are willing to give up your life to bend over backwards for them outside of working hours, monetary reward is nonexistent. Company culture has become uncomfortable and toxic. Management constantly expects people to do multiple jobs and overload themselves with little to no reward. Constantly short staffed because of all the people leaving for better jobs. Remaining people are expected to pick up the slack with no additional compensation. Requesting a small improvement to the work environment needs budget approval by "the board."
