Knows and reviews all emergency procedures and responds to emergency situations immediately in accordance with YMCA policies, procedures, and the “safe-in-six” model; completes related reports as required. Staff will be scheduled in pairs to oversee a bunkhouse with a maximum of 48 campers assigned to their respective bunkhouses. This position supports the missions and operations of the Orange County Scouting America and the Irvine Ranch Outdoor Education Center. The mission of Scouting America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
