Ontario Christian School company history timeline
In 1944, a group of men and women from the Ontario Christian Reformed Church took a step of faith and established a Christian school.
The Heritage Community Christian School was established in 1960 in the village of Athens.
Dominion was founded in 1996 by families who wanted to provide their children with a quality independent-school education that would blend the proven methods of the classical approach, the cutting-edge advancements in contemporary math and science, and a Christ-centered worldview.
After significant effort and community activity, Milton Christian School (MCS) opened its doors to students on September 5, 2006.
In March 2016, the Milton Christian Education Association announced the successful acquision of 7419 Tremaine Road; a beautiful 2.5 acre piece of property surrounded by parkland.
As Dominion grew, the school moved onto two campuses – the current Vale Road campus (grades K-6) in Oakton and, eventually, the current Isaac Newton Square campus in Reston (grades 7-12). Dominion opened its third campus in Potomac Falls in the fall of 2019 (grades K-2).
