Shipping Associate
Pay: $18.00 plus $1.00 Shift Differential for working 2nd shift.
2nd Shift (Mon-Fri) 2 pm to 10 pm
Summary of Duties
Shipping Associates verify and maintain the organization of products and or materials in the warehouse. Keep all aisles, fire extinguishers, exits, and loading docks clear and free of any debris. Verifies and keeps records on outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipments by performing the following duties.
Conveying Product
Convey materials to designated areas using a lift truck or a pallet jack.
Attach labels to cartons.
Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
Loading/Unloading
Compare identifying information and counts, weights, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, racks, and shelves by hand.
Inserts items into containers.
Housekeeping
Keep all dock trash bins empty.
Keep all aisles, fire extinguishers, exits, and loading docks clear and free of any debris.
Qualifications
Must be willing to work overtime as required.
Ability to drive a lift truck and a clamp truck
