The university is located off of Interstate 71 in Ashland, Ohio, midway between Cleveland and Columbus. * Candidates must be able to teach proper technique and skill development in various aspects of football. Candidates should have a complete and thorough understanding of football and be able to instruct student-athletes in small group and one-on-one settings. * Candidates should have the ability to coach and instruct defensive backs. This position will be responsible for the development and evaluation of cornerbacks. The secondary coach is responsible for developing scouting reports, practice plans and game plans for the secondary. * This coach will also be the lead coach on the kickoff team and serve as the academic coordinator. * This coach will coordinate team community service projects. * This coach will serve as the liaison to the College of Education from the football staff. * As the Academic Coordinator, this person will work with a number of areas across campus, including counseling, admissions, student affairs and the Assistant Athletic Director/SWA, who also serves as the department's academic coordinator.
