Operations Academy - conducted at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) located in Glynco, GA. This training consists of basic law enforcement skills, immigration laws, firearms training, examination of cargo/bags/merchandise, physical fitness, etc. Candidates assigned to the southern border, Miami, or Puerto Rico duty locations must attend and pass an online Spanish training program, which will be completed at their home port. Successful completion of the Academy is required for this position.

Team Overview:
The Program Team brings the camp experience to life by creating programs, building community and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all camp participants. The team creates accessible and developmentally appropriate programs and recruits, processes and supports a large team of volunteers and seasonal staff. In adherence with laws and camp governing bodies; they develop, plan and implement camp emergency procedures and policies.
Responsibilities:
Attend Seasonal Staff Training (May 18-29, 2026)
Attend High Risk Certification & Leadership Training (May 11-15, 2026)
Oversee the village operations of 3-4 cabins, each housing up to 10 campers
Attend daily morning medical meetings (as needed) and coordinate with medical, psychosocial, and cabin staff on camper care needs

The PQA Observer works collaboratively with program and leadership teams to observe, document, and synthesize program quality data. This role focuses on providing objective, data-informed insights, identifying strengths, and highlighting opportunities for growth that enhance camper, volunteer, and staff experiences. The PQA Observer does not provide real-time coaching, intervene in programming, or supervise staff, and instead collaborates with the Camp Director to support reflection, learning, and continuous improvement.
Expected Commitment: Approximately 25-30 hours per session, including on-site observations and remote reporting. Observations will be scheduled across multiple sessions based on availability and camp needs.

* Candidates should have the ability to coach and instruct defensive backs. This position will be responsible for the development and evaluation of cornerbacks. The secondary coach is responsible for developing scouting reports, practice plans and game plans for the secondary.
* This coach will also be the lead coach on the kickoff team and serve as the academic coordinator.
* This coach will coordinate team community service projects.
* This coach will serve as the liaison to the College of Education from the football staff.
* As the Academic Coordinator, this person will work with a number of areas across campus, including counseling, admissions, student affairs and the Assistant Athletic Director/SWA, who also serves as the department's academic coordinator. This position will be involved in tracking student success and in programming to help student-athletes reach their full potential in the classroom.
