The Department:
Within our organization, the Operations department works directly with terminals, rails, depots, motor carriers and suppliers in the region daily. Specifically, Operations ensures all equipment is in good order and moving timely. This is accomplished using internal systems for planning and monitoring equipment flows, managing empties to booking ratios, ensuring empty availability for vessel repositioning, while making sure no equipment is idling in the region.
Key Job Accountabilities:
Monitor daily work activity and prioritization for the Dispatch team, then provide results to management
Manage all exceptions and service recoveries as the first point of contact
Review daily activities for training or enhancement opportunities by providing continual observation of items for staff growth and knowledge and to bring efficiencies to the team.
Develop and improve cross-functional job tasks for proactive and clear handling.
Ensure ISO compliance and recommend actions for continuous improvement.
Team liaison for cross-functional projects to provide dispatch input
Manage invoice rejections and provide problem resolutions
Review job order failure cases and provide resolution
Quarterly review with the Procurement team to assist with dispatch input on vendor review and trucking supplier performance.

Overview
Responsible for assisting in coordinating and monitoring activities engaged in the warehouse activities. Lead the warehouse staff and ensure safety protocols are followed. Ensure daily needs are met for internal and external customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Manage assigned warehouse area pertaining to quality, workmanship, productivity, recovery, sanitation and employee practices
* Meeting daily shipments requirements to guarantee AIT's service levels are achieve. Ensure that customer's goods arrive to final destination and are receive in a timely manner
* Monitor and expedites workflow of the dock assigned area and makes adjustments when necessary. Answers questions from warehouse employees pertaining processes and escalate to management as necessary
* Handle any training or process communications to warehouse personnel and ensures team compliance
* Handle and leads all inventory control including data entry, cycle counts and client reporting updates
* Operate a manually controlled gasoline or electric powered Forklift to pick-up, deliver or move materials around the warehouse location
* Follow safety policies and ensure the warehouse personnel adhere to the safety procedures in place in order to maintain personnel order & cleanliness
* Assure compliance with all safety and warehouse processes
* Communicate with management and other leads any problems or concerns with attendance, performance, and warehouse operations.
* Train warehouse personnel in warehouse processes, safety and assists personnel to improve procedures / performance

Job Responsibilities:
Manage the functional mailboxes to validate existing customer account codes to match information on the shipping Instructions, account re-activation and any other relevant customer profile verification in the OOCL enterprise system.

Job Accountabilities/Tasks:
Notify and update customer service on vessel schedule adjustments, such as port omissions, cut-off changes or adjustments in port connections. Perform batch route update to active shipments.
Provide Booking forecasts (CBF's) to the vessel planners for all vessels by port pair. Based on vessel situation, secure additional space and/or coordinate with Sales to implement cargo cuts if required and work with Operations team to update final load lists.
Coordinate with internal teams to utilize any unused space each week on each vessel to reposition empty units to achieve best use of vessel asset.
Respond to all ad-hoc inquiries that are required by TFC covering all physical aspects of services. This would include items such as service coverage, cargo acceptability, shipment exception, cargo delay, etc.
Reconcile slot use on vessel basis and verification of financial statements with partner lines on their vessels. Enter slot cost into online system for each vessel in order for Finance to process payments for our slot use.

Position Responsibilities for Documentation Representative - Ocean Shipping:

Overview
The Customer Service Representative III will act as resource to AIT's customers requests and resolve delivery issues by answering customer's questions and work on resolving them in coordination with other departments. Dispatch Representative - Onsite role Schedule: M-F 8:30AM-5PM The Department: Within our organization, the Operations department works directly with terminals, rails, depots, motor carriers and suppliers in the region daily. Specifically, Operations ensures all equipment is in good order and moving timely. This is accomplished using internal systems for planning and monitoring equipment flows, managing empties to booking ratios, ensuring empty availability for vessel repositioning, while making sure no equipment is idling in the region.
Key Job Accountabilities:
* Monitor daily work activity and prioritization for the Dispatch team, then provide results to management
* Manage all exceptions and service recoveries as the first point of contact
* Review daily activities for training or enhancement opportunities by providing continual observation of items for staff growth and knowledge and to bring efficiencies to the team.
* Develop and improve cross-functional job tasks for proactive and clear handling.
* Ensure ISO compliance and recommend actions for continuous improvement.
* Team liaison for cross-functional projects to provide dispatch input
* Manage invoice rejections and provide problem resolutions
* Review job order failure cases and provide resolution
* Quarterly review with the Procurement team to assist with dispatch input on vendor review and trucking supplier performance.

Qualifications:
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
