Specifically, Operations ensures all equipment is in good order and moving timely. This is accomplished using internal systems for planning and monitoring equipment flows, managing empties to booking ratios, ensuring empty availability for vessel repositioning, while making sure no equipment is idling in the region. Key Job Accountabilities: Monitor daily work activity and prioritization for the Dispatch team, then provide results to management Manage all exceptions and service recoveries as the first point of contact Review daily activities for training or enhancement opportunities by providing continual observation of items for staff growth and knowledge and to bring efficiencies to the team. Develop and improve cross-functional job tasks for proactive and clear handling. Ensure ISO compliance and recommend actions for continuous improvement. Team liaison for cross-functional projects to provide dispatch input Manage invoice rejections and provide problem resolutions Review job order failure cases and provide resolution Quarterly review with the Procurement team to assist with dispatch input on vendor review and trucking supplier performance. Summary of Key Responsibilities: Facilities & Technical Services Management * Manage facilities across multiple OOCL locations in North America * Facilitate property lease negotiations and oversee space planning * Lead office renovation, relocation, and expansion projects * Oversee and participate in the negotiation of technical services contracts and office technical needs * Organize and maintain security protocols for all locations * Ensure compliance with government regulations and environmental health and safety standards Financial & Administrative Oversight * Develop and manage facilities and IT budgets * Oversee purchasing and vendor management * Process and approve capital expenditure requests * Approve and ensure proper accounting and reconciliation of vendor invoices HR Support * Assist with compliance, workforce planning, and organizational development * Support performance management and policy implementation Collaboration & Leadership * Work closely with internal teams and external vendors * Provide guidance and support for office services and technical administrative functions * Occasional travel required for site visits and project oversight Qualifications & Skills: * Bachelor's degree in business administration, facilities management, or related field * Minimum 3+ years of experience in facilities management or corporate services * Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills * Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management tools * Highly organized with strong time management skills * Ability to manage complex workloads and multiple priorities * Occasional travel required Ideal Candidate Attributes: * Detail-oriented and technically competent * Skilled in negotiation and project management * Strong leadership and collaboration skills * Adaptable and proactive in a fast-paced environment OOCL Benefits: All full-time employees enjoy these outstanding benefits, while in a safe, friendly, clean, business casual office environment.     Dispatch Representative - Onsite role Schedule: M-F 8:30AM-5PM The Department: Within our organization, the Operations department works directly with terminals, rails, depots, motor carriers and suppliers in the region daily. Specifically, Operations ensures all equipment is in good order and moving timely. This is accomplished using internal systems for planning and monitoring equipment flows, managing empties to booking ratios, ensuring empty availability for vessel repositioning, while making sure no equipment is idling in the region. Key Job Accountabilities: * Monitor daily work activity and prioritization for the Dispatch team, then provide results to management * Manage all exceptions and service recoveries as the first point of contact * Review daily activities for training or enhancement opportunities by providing continual observation of items for staff growth and knowledge and to bring efficiencies to the team. * Develop and improve cross-functional job tasks for proactive and clear handling. * Ensure ISO compliance and recommend actions for continuous improvement. * Team liaison for cross-functional projects to provide dispatch input * Manage invoice rejections and provide problem resolutions * Review job order failure cases and provide resolution * Quarterly review with the Procurement team to assist with dispatch input on vendor review and trucking supplier performance. * Review invoice rejection and provide problem resolution Qualifications: * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite * Strong interpersonal skills * Excellent verbal and written communication, especially proficient in email communication * High attention to detail Preferred Skills: * Government rules and regulations What is OOCL?
