The Call Center Representative will report to the Director of Practice Administration & Call Center and will be based in Ossining, NY. The Call Center provides assistance with all incoming calls to our centers and supports access for care to our patients for medical, dental, and behavioral health services provided throughout our locations. Responsibilities Provide superior Customer Service to Open Door Family Medical Center patients, providers and colleagues. Accurately and promptly answer incoming telephone calls, eCW messages and Patient Portal inquiries. Serve as a liaison between care providers and patients to ensure that patients can access medical services, medications, and other crucial aspects of health care in a timely manner. Document thoroughly and accurately patient communications and actions taken on their behalf in our electronic records. Follow procedures to correctly prioritize patient needs with provider availability. Use appropriate means of communication for serving our patients' needs (appointment, telephone encounter, overhead pages) with required staff. Respond to emergency calls according to established procedure. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times, following HIPAA and Open Door Family Medical Center guidelines. Demonstrate ability to know when to request supervisor or additional support to meet the needs of our customers, patients and the community. Participate in special customer service projects intended to further engage or provide general education about the services offered at our centers. Represent Open Door in community outreach activities. Requirements Bilingual English/Spanish with written and verbal fluency in both languages. High School Degree required. College credits, Associates Degree, Bachelor's degree preferred. Medical office experience is preferred Proficient in computer use and experience with MS Office applications, including Excel.     Job DescriptionDescription: JOB SUMMARY: Installs, tests, maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and monitors Local Area and Wide Area Network equipment. Works throughout the organization, in the documentation, design, planning, implementation, growth forecasts and support of the network infrastructure. Works directly with end-users and equipment vendors to resolve design and implementation problems. Serves as technical project lead on small to medium sized projects. Participate in on-call rotation and available for after hours and emergency service coverage as required. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of writing purchase justifications; making presentations to an internal audience; work effectively in a diverse highly skilled team. Strong technical aptitude and self-direction. Ability to research and solve complex issues independently. Strong understanding of all aspects of wireless devices, routers, and switches. Strong understanding of network protocols. (TCP/IP, IPSEC, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.) Strong understanding of network security best practices. Experience with Fortinet firewalls, Aruba/HP switches, and Aruba wireless. Experience with the installation and configuration of firewalls and firewall rules. Experience with content filtering solutions. (e.g. Sophos) Experience with APC/UPS technologies. Knowledgeable in QoS and VoIP technologies. Experience with Avaya IP Office. Monitor and report on network traffic and usage. Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive customer and internal information. Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends, sometimes with little advance notice. On-Call responsibilities. No regular travel required. Other duties as assigned. May be exposed to hazardous drugs. Attends OSHA training at Orientation and annually thereafter. RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHERS: Excellent communication and organization skills. Strong departmental relationships. Requirements: EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE: Bachelor (4-year) degree, with a technical major, such as Engineering or Computer Science required Associates degree with 2 years of additional work experience in a related field or High school with an additional 4 years of work experience in a related field may be substituted for degree requirement. Certifications desired: Comptia Network+, Security+, Cisco CCNA, Aruba, and Fortinet. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires sitting, standing, bending, and reaching. Basic dexterity skills, frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75lbs, vision abilities required; close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
