Alexander Sotelo is the chief financial officer of [Open English](https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/open-english), an education technology company focused on English language learning for the Latin American and U.S. Hispanic markets. Prior to joining Open English, he held the position of Latin America controller at Yahoo!. He previously held financial management positions at Discovery Communications and CBS/Viacom. He began his career working for KPMG. Sotelo holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and Florida International University and an MBA in international business from the Keller Graduate School of Business.
