What Does An Operating Partner Do At Walmart

* Manage and traffic campaigns in Ad server tools such as DoubleClick(DCM) / Demand Side Platforms (DSPs)
* Oversee media tracking and analytics set up and implementation
* Create timeline and delivery dates for campaign delivery
* Active participation in media planning discussions regarding trafficking strategies and related operational issues

What Does An Operating Partner Do At Barclays

* ensuring end to end operational and technical processes impacting partners and programs are operating effectively, efficiently and in control through monitoring and support functions.
* These include programs such as launches, conversions, product refreshes, file feed enhancements and rewards updates.
* This individual will work directly with Technical and Operational teams throughout the bank to recommend and implement technical capabilities for one or many co-brand credit card programs (such teams include Customer Delivery, File Transfer, Rewards Operations and Development Agile teams).
* Additionally, this role will support and present recommendations for continuity across issue management, file monitoring, reporting, and analysis of the card portfolio.
* Your Role (Key Accountabilities)
* Ensure that project initiation documents reflect accurate business requirements, prioritized according to co-brand partner expectations and controls are incorporated where needed.
* Manage and implement all technical and operational components within large or small scale projects by acting as the main contact between the development teams and co-brand partner (both internal/external facing) within a particular co-brand portfolio.
* Support incident management by triaging and communicating issues while working closely with the appropriate internal technical, operational and control teams; as well as the partner as needed.
* Monitor daily file transfer reporting to ensure end to end reconciliation is occurring through triaging and resolution of data or connectivity issues between the partner and Barclaycard US.
* Collaborate effectively with the co-brand partner teams (both internal and external) to ensure all partner and customer commitments are met.
* This also includes escalating as appropriate regarding customer or partner impacts.
* Recommend portfolio enhancements designed to improve customer experience and simplify complex processes within the portfolio.
* Assist with managing bank-wide programs with partnership impacts through reporting, issue resolution and internal/external communications.
* Basic Qualifications/Skills

Although education and training requirements vary widely by position and industry, many top executives have at least a bachelor’s degree and a considerable amount of work experience. 


Many top executives have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration or in an area related to their field of work. Top executives in the public sector often have a degree in business administration, public administration, law, or the liberal arts. Top executives of large corporations often have a master’s degree in business administration (MBA).

College presidents and school superintendents are typically required to have a master’s degree, although a doctorate is often preferred.

Although many mayors, governors, or other public sector executives have at least a bachelor’s degree, these positions typically do not have any specific education requirements.

Work Experience in a Related Occupation

Many top executives advance within their own firm, moving up from lower level managerial or supervisory positions. However, other companies may prefer to hire qualified candidates from outside their organization. Top executives who are promoted from lower level positions may be able to substitute experience for education to move up in the company. For example, in industries such as retail trade or transportation, workers without a college degree may work their way up to higher levels within the company to become executives or general managers.

Chief executives typically need extensive managerial experience. Executives are also expected to have experience in the organization’s area of specialty. Most general and operations managers hired from outside an organization need lower level supervisory or management experience in a related field.
