We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team for a 13-week contract with a large and reputable hospital system in California. The RN will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients across multiple departments in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. With positions available in both the San Francisco and Los Angeles metropolitan areas, as well as a variety of shifts and clinical settings, this is an excellent opportunity for experienced nurses looking to make an immediate impact and gain exposure to diverse patient care areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for adverse reactions and side effects.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other nursing staff, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Monitor patient conditions and make adjustments to care plans as needed.
Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive healthcare.
Respond to emergency situations promptly and appropriately.
Assist in the orientation and mentoring of new staff, if applicable.
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and quality standards to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Qualifications:
Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience; experience in [specific department(s), e.g., Med-Surg, ICU, ER, etc.] preferred.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, etc.) may be required depending on the department.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills.
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced and sometimes high-stress environment.
Experience with [hospital's Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, if applicable] is a plus.
