Northwestern Medicine Palos Hospital is seeking highly qualified Registered Nurses to join our esteemed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team! We are looking for individuals with exceptional clinical skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, along with strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Schedule is based off of 12-hour shifts with every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays required. We have full-time (36 hours/week) and part-time (24 hours/week) options available.
The Staff Nurse reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
The registered professional nurse assumes accountability and responsibility for the individualized, age-specific care of a patient along the continuum from admission to discharge. She/He gives direct care to assigned patients and assists with other patient care when necessary. The registered professional nurse's decisions and actions on behalf of the patient/family are determined in an ethical manner. The Job Description:Position / Specialty: RN OperatingRoom Shift: 5x8s 630a-3p No block scheduling Call Requirements: One 12 hour shift a month on a Saturday or Sunday 7A-7P or 7P-7A. There is no week-day call. Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend / 2 weekends per month RTO: 5 days max with no more than 2 consecutive. No holiday RTO. No RTO the day prior or after a holiday. No RTO on weekends. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs.
