Job Summary and Qualifications
Surgical Technologist (Certified)
The Surgical Tech is responsible for pulling cases, scrubbing cases and assisting physician with surgery.
What you will do in this role:
* You will demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.
* You will promote customer service initiatives.
* You will function as scrub person during operative procedures.
* You will demonstrate ability to perform technical skills and procedures.
* You will assist in the intra-operative care of the patient by performing technical duties as assigned
* You will deliver compassionate, holistic care, while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.
What qualifications you will need:
* Must be a graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program
* Surgical Technician certification required
* BLS Certification current
* 1 Year of surgery experience preferred in the following areas: General, GYN, Urology, Plastics, and Orthopedics.
