AUDIOLOGIST TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS:
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) diploma.
Possess a minimum of one year of experience within the last two years working as a full-time Audiology technician.
Have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (i.e. Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) via the American Heart Association.
AUDIOLOGY TECHNICIAN DUTIES:
Shall receive service members, explain methods of procedures, position service members, perform diagnostic radiographic service to service members. Technologists shall perform independent audiology examinations. Reviewing test results for quality control, contrast, detail and adequate demonstration of hearing.
Document test results. Maintain documentation of all tests provided in accordance with directives and prepare such records and reports as may be required by the policy. Ensure all documentation and reports are legible and complete. The HCP shall prepare all documentation to meet or exceed established standards to include but not limited to timeliness, legibility, accuracy, content and signature.

Job Description
The Surgical Technician (Scrub Tech) plays a crucial role in supporting surgical procedures by preparing the operatingroom, ensuring the proper functioning of equipment, and assisting the surgical team throughout the procedure. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, teamwork abilities, and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare the operatingroom by assembling surgical instruments, equipment, and necessary supplies.
Assist in the positioning of patients and ensuring their safety during surgical procedures.
Maintain a sterile field and ensure compliance with established infection control standards.
Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon and surgical team during operations.
Monitor the patient's condition and alert the surgical team to any changes during procedures.
Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
Assist with post-operative care, including transferring patients to recovery areas and ensuring a smooth transition.
Document surgical procedures and maintain accurate records of all supplies used.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Actively participates in Mass Casualty exercises and events.
Completes required organizational compliance education, including assigned requirements that are client-specified, for Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services certification or other regulatory bodies.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements/Certifications:
The CST certification offered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Minimum of 3-5 years recent experience as a Surgical Technician including at least six months out of the past year.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
Experience on a military site working as a government subcontractor or prime contractor is preferred.
Education Required:
Graduate from an accredited surgical technician program or have the military equivalent training course with Certificate of Completion (i.e. 68D, HM8483, 4N1x1).
Medical Tech or related field.
Physical Requirements:
Must meet pre-deployment physical requirements
Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
May require bending, stooping and lifting to 25 lbs.
Other Special Qualifications:
US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card is required.
Valid US Passport with at least 18 months before expiration date. Must maintain a current passport during your stay in Iraq.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance, specifically a MRPT. Applicants with current clearances are preferred.
Must be able to relocate to Iraq for the duration of the project.
Must be able to read, write and speak English to effectively communicate.

Job Description
The Surgical Technician (Scrub Tech) plays a crucial role in supporting surgical procedures by preparing the operatingroom, ensuring the proper functioning of equipment, and assisting the surgical team throughout the procedure. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, teamwork abilities, and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare the operatingroom by assembling surgical instruments, equipment, and necessary supplies.
Assist in the positioning of patients and ensuring their safety during surgical procedures.
Maintain a sterile field and ensure compliance with established infection control standards.
Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon and surgical team during operations.
Monitor the patient's condition and alert the surgical team to any changes during procedures.
Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
Assist with post-operative care, including transferring patients to recovery areas and ensuring a smooth transition.
Document surgical procedures and maintain accurate records of all supplies used.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Actively participates in Mass Casualty exercises and events.
Completes required organizational compliance education, including assigned requirements that are client-specified, for Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services certification or other regulatory bodies.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements/Certifications:
The CST certification offered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Minimum of 3-5 years recent experience as a Surgical Technician including at least six months out of the past year.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
Experience on a military site working as a government subcontractor or prime contractor is preferred.
Education Required:
Graduate from an accredited surgical technician program or have the military equivalent training course with Certificate of Completion (i.e. 68D, HM8483, 4N1x1).
Medical Tech or related field.
Physical Requirements:
Must meet pre-deployment physical requirements
Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
May require bending, stooping and lifting to 25 lbs.
Other Special Qualifications:
US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card is required.
Valid US Passport with at least 18 months before expiration date. Must maintain a current passport during your stay in Iraq.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance, specifically a MRPT. Applicants with current clearances are preferred.
Must be able to relocate to Iraq for the duration of the project.
Must be able to read, write and speak English to effectively communicate.

Essential Functions:
Before an operation, helps set up the operatingroom and organizes sterile table with surgical instruments and equipment, sterile linens, and sterile solutions.
Checks, adjusts, and operates equipment such as sterilizers, lights, suction machines, electrosurgical units, and diagnostic equipment.
Maintains supply of fluids such as plasma, saline, blood, and glucose for use during operation.
Prepares patients for surgery by washing, shaving, and disinfecting incision sites. Also transports, positions patients on table, and covers them with sterile surgical "drapes."
Scrubs hands and arms, puts on sterile operatingroom attire to be able to work within the sterile field established around the patient and to handle the sterilized instruments, equipment, and supplies used in the procedure.

Helps prepare, care for, and dispose of specimens taken for laboratory analysis, holds retractors, cuts sutures, and applies dressings as directed.
Cleans and restocks the operatingroom.
Adheres to The Joint Commission (TJC) on professional standards and attends hospital in-service training sessions as directed. Provides age-appropriate care for all age groups.
