Pride Health is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative (EMT) to join a team in Kent, WA. This position is ideal for a dynamic healthcare professional with a strong background in first aid, emergency medical response, and workplace wellness.
Job Description:
The Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) role requires a passionate healthcare professional to provide first aid support and safety coaching to associates. You will work closely with the WHS site manager, WHS specialist, and Injury Prevention Specialist, ensuring the health and safety of all associates while managing workplace injury prevention, case management, and emergency response.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide first aid support for occupational and non-occupational injuries.
· Minimize injury risk through education and proactive engagement with associates.
· Maintain and document all medical records of care provided.
· Oversee the workers' compensation program and manage return-to-work processes.
· Submit daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
· Engage with associates on the operations floor, providing coaching on safe work habits and at-risk behaviors.
· Maintain a clean medical environment and ensure medical supplies are well-stocked.
· Participate in First Aid, CPR, and AED training and maintain certifications.
· Assist with drug testing protocols and emergency care delivery.
Qualifications:
Required:
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
· One of the following:
· EMT or Paramedic Certification from the Department of Health or NREMT.
· Six months job experience in the Military as a Combat Medic, Field Medic, or similar.
· Active Athletic Trainer Certification from BOC or state certification.
Preferred:
· Certified to teach First Aid, CPR, and AED through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
· Experience with industrial wellness programs, musculoskeletal disorders, and ergonomics.
· Knowledge of OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation procedures.
· Skilled in digital record keeping.
Additional Information:
· Location: Kent, WA
· Schedule:
Training Schedule: 2-3 weeks of shadowing, either on same shift accepted for role or will be the same working times, just shifted to Sunday through Wednesday, to overlap with a counterpart.
Shift Schedule:
o One will be from 07:00 - 17:30, Wednesday through Saturday
o The other will be 18:00 - 04:30 Wednesday through Saturday
· Contract Length: 6 months
· Pay Rate: $30 - $38/hour
Estimated Start Date: 26 January 2026

+ Accountable for ensuring the provision of patient care 24 hours a day. Accountable for assigned clinical operations, patient care activities, coordinating patient care delivery on a daily basis in collaboration with other members of the health care team. + Establishes and enforces standards of patient care and nursing practice pertaining to areas of responsibility. Is accountable for developing, implementing, and monitoring unit-based quality improvement programs. Responsible for developing and implementing unit-based goals for the delivery of quality patient care.
+ Assures compliance with department standards by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the delivery of patient care by reinforcing positive outcomes and demonstrating corrective action for identified problems.
+ Accountable for appropriate patient care based on assignments of appropriate patient assignments, evaluation of patient care and patient/family satisfaction by conducting rounds and intervening accordingly.
+ Assumes the role of patient advocate to clarify and evaluate ethical and/or legal issues, and supports cultural practices.
+ Assumes accountability for staff retention by tracking staff turnover rate of all categories of personnel and actively taking steps to ensure the reduction of turnover among her/his staff.
+ Demonstrates clinical competence by assisting with patient care in order to maintain clinical skills. Spend time on all shifts to assess care and to coach, develop, evaluate and advocate for staff.
+ Collaborates with the clinical nurse specialist and/or clinical educator to identify, plan, and implement an educational program pertinent to the service and for all level of staff.
+ Hears and adjusts up to step-two grievances.
The Surgical Technologist (ST) is responsible for facilitating the surgical procedure through the assembly of instrumentation, equipment and supplies. The Surgical Technologist work as a member of the surgical team under the supervision of a registered nurse, with the surgeon, anesthesiologist, and other medical support personnel to provide patient care in a manner consistent with the mission, vision and values of the Surgical Services department and Swedish Medical Center.

Required Qualifications:
+ Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist training program - Surgical Technology.
+ Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire.

+ Prior experience as a surgical technologist in an acute care facility.
