We're hiring full-time Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) that will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients.
This is a full-time position working 12-hour shifts.
Responsibilities:
EMTs provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services by utilizing appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
Use appropriate EMT skills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment and tools.
EMTs operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies, and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles.
Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow EMTs.
Other Responsibilities:
Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
NREMT certification.
Wyoming EMT certification.
CPR/BLS certification.
State driver's license in good standing.
Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT).

JOB SUMMARY
The Certified Surgical Technologist works under the supervision of the Surgery Services Director and OR Clinical Care Supervisor. The Certified Surgical Technologist assists in patient care activities as the primary scrub person who handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. The Certified Surgical Technologist has an understanding of the procedures being performed. Maintains the sterile field during surgical procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Scrubs all surgical services provided at CCH.
Identifies and assures that physician preferences for surgical supplies, equipment, and instruments are ready for each case.
Maintains principles of aseptic technique.
Performs technical skills in accordance with hospital policy and procedure.
Performs "on-call" duties.
Provides service excellence to all customers.
Orients new personnel to job duties.
Maintains professional standards related to clinical practice, staffing and continuing education.
Practices fiscal responsibility and accountability.
Actively participates in hospital committees, CQI teams, and Quality Improvement Program.
Maintains a clean and safe environment.
Performs proper sterilization technique on instruments/equipment.
Adheres to Surgical Services Patient Focused Code of Conduct
Required to take call.
Must be free from governmental sanctions involving health care and/or financial practices.
Complies with the hospital's Corporate Compliance Program including, but not limited to, the Code of Conduct, laws and regulations, and hospital policies and procedures.

Assists with patient positioning upon request.
Assists with obtaining supplies/equipment needed for upcoming cases.
Upon request attains supplies from the core and returns unused supplies (core runner).
Returns equipment to storage areas after cases.
Maintains stock supply of clinical items on a per shift basis, e.g. organizes and maintains sub-sterile room, replenishes warmers and maintains scrub sink areas with needed supplies.
Responds to the needs of the department. Prioritizes and organizes assigned tasks with minimum of supervision.
Effectively and efficiently completes all assigned duties per checklist.
All other duties as assigned.

Collaborates with members of the preoperative team to coordinate each individual patient's care needs.

Welcome and orient new patients to office procedures and testing processes.
Explain the purpose and effects of all tests and procedures performed to patients.
Obtain complete and accurate patient histories.
Perform and document a full range of ophthalmic testing and measurements, including visual acuity, lensometry, visual fields, stereo testing, motility evaluation, pupillary and color testing, applanation tonometry, refraction, angle assessment, dilation, contact lens evaluation, and advanced imaging (e.g., OCT, HRT, GDx, pachymetry, corneal topography).
Serve as ophthalmic scribe and assist physicians with examinations, laser procedures, and minor surgeries, maintaining sterile technique and infection control standards.
Support ophthalmic photography and image capture as needed.
Escort patients from the waiting area, initiate testing, and prepare them for examination.
Prioritize patient flow to maintain efficiency, adjusting testing order as necessary.
Handle patient phone calls regarding ocular emergencies, prescription refills, and general care questions.
Coordinate with reception and clinical staff to ensure timely and organized patient movement.
Perform routine equipment maintenance, including troubleshooting, bulb replacement, and connection checks.
Ensure instrument sterility and complete archiving functions per manufacturer guidelines.
Confirm patient appointments and maintain accurate scheduling.
Keep exam and procedure rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.

Must be 18 years or older.
EDUCATION: High school diploma; some college preferred.
EXPERIENCE: One to twoyears experience as a certified ophthalmic assistant or surgical technologist preferred but not required. Valid drivers license and must have a clean driving record.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Basic understanding of optics and the ability to perform refractometry.
