JOB TITLE: Surgical Technologist SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Physician and/or Registered Nurse Surgical Technician needed for fast paced ASC. Tuesday through Friday. No weekends. No holidays. CPR required. Surgical technologists, also called scrubs and surgical or operating room technicians, assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Surgical Scrub, preferably in a plastic surgery, dermatology, or other surgical setting. Experience with both minor and major surgical procedures, including knowledge of surgical instruments, sutures, and sterile techniques. Experience in assisting with procedures such as facelifts, breast augmentations, rhinoplasty, and liposuction is highly preferred. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or another recognized certifying body. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred. JOB TITLE: Surgical Scrub Tech Department: Clinical Reports to: Surgical Leader FLSA Status: Non-exempt SUMMARY As a Surgical Scrub Tech, you will prepare the operating room, ensure all instruments and supplies are sterile, and assist the surgical team during procedures. Your duties include maintaining the sterile field, handing instruments to the surgeon, positioning patients, and supporting patient care before and after surgery.
