Coordinates and supervises activities of equipment and workforce throughout the facility with a focus on optimizing Safety, Quality, Productivity, Spoilage and Employee Engagement
Communicates all pertinent information between departments and between shifts on changes to equipment, production schedules, production problems or any other related information.
Works with employees on identifying, discussing solutions and implementing “fixes” on machinery and equipment problems
Performs and facilitates “on the job training”, coaching, and performance management of employees as needed or required

Manages machinery set-up and adjustment and inspects products to ensure compliance to standards

Basic Qualifications

Supervisor, Operations
This position oversees the operations performed within a Branch. Provides leadership, guidance and coordination of services to ensure the distribution of all medical equipment, supplies and services delivered to a patient's home accurately and on time. Job Duties:

Manage logistics team providing daily direction and communication to employees so that orders are routed in a timely, efficient, and knowledgeable manner or exceed productivity and cost per delivery goals.

Control inventory at the branch level. Place purchase orders in accordance with company restocking protocol.

Responsible for root cause analysis and problem resolution for all operations reviewing trends of customer service failures, determines root cause analysis, and implements appropriate communication / measures for improvements.

What you will be doing:

The supervisor must keep security and sanitation as a high priority. If incidents occur compromising safety or security, the Supervisor must ensure employees are safe, a report is compiled and submitted to HR for processing. Follow through with immediate corrections to ensure the security and safety of the rest of the team. Make recommendations of corrective actions needed to maintenance.
Production Goals and Quality
OperationsSupervisors are responsible for meeting production goals and quality assurance standards. Supervisors must ensure product specifications and manufacturing procedures comply with regulations, including those under OSHA & AIB, etc. The Supervisor is responsible for maintaining high production standards while reaching production goals and ensuring quality control standards are not compromised. If the Supervisor is unable to meet production goals or observes quality deficiencies, the Supervisor should try to identify the cause of the quality defect and confer with their manager regarding solutions.
