About the Role
Suzano is seeking a Storeroom Supervisor to support our Pine Bluff, AR mill. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day storeroom operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, timely material issuance, strong service levels to internal teams, and compliance with storeroom standards and procedures. You will work closely with the Storeroom Manager to execute established strategies, lead a team of storeroom technicians, and help maintain optimal inventory performance for Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO), Capex projects, and General Shutdown activities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic industrial environment, is hands‑on with materials management processes, and enjoys leading teams in operations execution.
What You're Going to Do
Supervise daily storeroom activities, ensuring accurate receiving, issuing, staging, storage, and cycle counting of materials.
Execute inventory control procedures and maintain stock accuracy in alignment with company standards.
Support the Storeroom Manager by implementing storeroom policies, procedures, and system workflows.
Coordinate material support for Maintenance work orders, General Shutdowns, and Capex‑related activities.
Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels, ensuring timely replenishment and minimizing stockouts.
Lead, mentor, and schedule storeroom technicians to ensure safe, efficient task execution.
Support employee development through coaching, skills training, and performance feedback.
Promote a collaborative, results‑driven, and safety‑focused team culture.
Ensure accurate SAP transactions, including goods issues, receipts, reservations, and cycle count adjustments.
Track and report key operational KPIs such as inventory accuracy, service levels, and order fulfillment performance.
Identify process deviations, correct issues proactively, and escalate systemic concerns to the Storeroom Manager.
Support Lean and 5S initiatives to maintain an organized, audit-ready storeroom environment.
Ensure compliance with ISO, OHSAS, and Suzano health and safety standards.
Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
What We Expect from You
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (preferably in Supply Chain Management), or 3+ years of experience in storeroom, warehouse, or inventory control roles in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related industrial operations.
Hands-on experience with SAP, ideally MM or WM modules.
Working knowledge of inventory control, materials staging, receiving practices, and cycle counting.
Familiarity with ISO/OHSAS compliance requirements.
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt preferred; Green Belt is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of day‑to‑day storeroom workflows and material handling.

+ Be the KPI owner for C&SC Cost Productivity & NIP.
+ Partner with site finance & cost focals to identify & successfully implement cost productivity & NIP projects across C&SC shops.
+ Define and implement standard work, operating rhythm, and escalation methods necessary to support the execution of cost productivity projects at the site and part family level.
+ Lead efforts to establish & proactively resource and fund a multi-year project pipeline.
+ Engage & secure support from resources external to C&SC (i.e Design, Sourcing, Engine Programs, etc.) to accelerate cost productivity projects.

**Pay Transparency**

The Service Supervisor supervises day-to-day field operations of the transit bus operators, ensure buses are on schedule and run safely. Provides support and assistance to operators in the performance of their daily duties to maintain an efficient and reliable transit system. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Monitors all phases of revenue service operations, monitors schedule adherence, fare collections, transfer problems, reporting of hazardous conditions and emergencies, and accident investigations. Reports all delays to Dispatch. Holds over units to allow more even spacing or headway.
Supervises, instructs, and conducts routine checks of transit operators relative to schedule and route adherence, proper signage, traffic regulations, safety, operating rules and policy compliance, uniform regulation, general appearance, physical condition, customer service, proper fare collection, general demeanor; documents daily activity as required. Assists, corrects, and/or reports any observed violations; reestablishes schedules in the event of vehicle breakdowns or service delays; responds to and resolves passenger incidents; creates and distributes detours due to accidents or road closures.
Monitors radio transmissions and maintains constant contact with transit vehicle operators and dispatchers, to ensure, monitor, and control revenue service operations, and to responds to emergencies and special needs.
Assists with accidents/incidents, including handling the collection of photographic evidence, measurements, interviewing of witnesses, provides information for alternative service, any needed on-site assistance and support for operators and emergency personnel; completes initial investigations, and reports for minor/major accidents, collisions, incidents, and injuries throughout the Rock Region Metro transit system.
