Ensure that all grain quality meets the expected quality standards and is maintained. Maintain communication with all people concerned regarding grain quality and inventory. Loadout of grain to trucks at correct weights and grade. Operations Receiving of grain including unloading and elevation. Assist in other areas of the location as needed including but not limited to: Operation of fertilizer tender truck Application of crop protection products, dry and liquid fertilizer, and lime. Fill and transport of NH3 product and equipment. Loading and unloading products from vehicles based on work orders. Safely operate forklift/loader to move grain, seed, chemical, fertilizer, etc. Record-keeping Develop an understanding of all bin or storage locations and maintain records of grain inventory in each (i.e., wet/dry corn, wet/dry beans) Accountable for all-grain equipment maintenance and record-keeping. Maintenance Ensure that the work area, equipment, and vehicles are all neat, clean, and well maintained. Maintain cleanliness of equipment to promote a positive company image. Position/maintain quality of grain for mill usage/grind. Light preventative maintenance. Responsible for all housekeeping and cleaning duties on a grain facility. Remain in complete compliance with Spill Prevention Rule for mineral oil handling (SPCC). Other Use all tools, equipment, and vehicles carefully and for their intended use.
