Team Development and Mentorship • Lead and mentor multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring alignment with market needs, regulatory requirements, and technical excellence. • Provide mentoring, career development, and performance guidance to junior and mid-level staff. • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and innovative culture that empowers others to lead. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Minimum Skills and Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Geology/Hydrogeology, or related discipline. • 12+ years of consulting experience, including significant leadership in PFAS and emerging contaminant site investigation, fate and transport, remediation, and regulatory interface. • Proven business development success, including client relationship management, proposal development, and project acquisition. • Strong communication and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to lead client engagements and multidisciplinary teams. • Ability to travel for client development, conferences, EnSafe engagement/leadership, project oversight, and other senior leadership responsibilities. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of day-to-day production operations within assigned departments or value streams. This role ensures delivery of quality products on time and to specification, driving improvements in safety, efficiency, training, staffing, and cost management from order entry to shipping. RESPONSIBILITIES - Supervise and support Leads and Operators to meet daily production goals. - Approve timecards and vacation requests for department staff. - Assist in Value Stream Mapping and support implementation of future state improvements. - Drive cost-saving initiatives through process improvement and efficiency gains. - Support training programs and personnel changes in partnership with HR and Training teams. - Ensure departmental compliance with OSHA and internal safety policies. - Manage consumable supply levels and provide weekly updates on material availability. - Collaborate with Supply Chain to manage and maintain accurate production schedules. - Support development, maintenance, and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). - Track and report on key metrics: WIP, On-Time Delivery (OTD), yields, waste, reprocessing, and scrap. - Assist in monthly and year-end inventory processes. - Develop 1-2 year staffing and training plans to meet future production needs. - Ensure on-time, in-specification product shipments to customers. - Actively participate in weekly SIOP meetings to support long-range planning (12-18 months). - Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate and improve planning, purchasing, and production alignment. - Lead or support cost improvement and yield enhancement projects. - Foster a culture of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma within the department.
