General Responsibilities:
Install, configure, support, and maintain software applications and tools as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Registered Nurse with current Texas license preferred.
Healthcare Informatics experience or equivalent clinical knowledge and\or licensure may be considered.
1-4 years of experience as a clinical informatics analyst required; consideration given for industry specific training. Preferred 4-10 yrs as a Clinical Informatics Analyst.
Demonstrated skillset in Cerner Millennium, Nursing and Physician Documentation systems, Pharmacy and Medication Administration system.

Intern - Natural Gas Utility Operations (Atmos)
Operations analyst job in Midland, TX
Purpose:
The development of technical or vocational college students who are pursuing an associate degree in applied science in a technical discipline. The intern will be exposed to a variety of natural gas operations that will provide an opportunity for the intern to apply knowledge and skills learned in college and demonstrate hands-on abilities in the workplace.
General Responsibilities: Under supervision and working with experienced employees in a variety of job classifications, the intern will learn all phases of Atmos Energy's natural gas operations. The internship experience will be comprised of hands-on and virtual learning of Atmos Energy's operations and maintenance procedures. All work performed will be in accordance with company, regulatory and safety procedures. The intern will get exposure and training in the following operational areas:
Construction - Learn and observe how to work as a member of a construction team. Observe and perform basic tasks to assist the construction crew engaged in installing and repairing natural gas facilities. Performs manual labor and works with hand tools, air tools, shovels, etc. during construction activities while adhering to all safety and company policies. Assists other crew members in all activities as required.
Service - Learn and observe a variety of customer service field activities associated with the connection and disconnection of natural gas service, meter reading, leak investigations and associated repairs. Learn how to read a natural gas meter and complete accurate records to comply with company and regulatory requirements. Learn how to respond professionally to customer requests related to natural gas service. Learn how to observe and report all abnormal operating conditions pertaining to gas meters and adjacent areas. May assist in the installation, programming, and operation of Wireless Meter Reading (WMR) equipment as necessary.
Damage Prevention - Learn and observe how to locate natural gas lines, install pipeline markings, and recognize hazards while observing safe work practices.
Leak Investigation and Emergency Response - Learn the critical thinking skills needed to respond to complex emergencies and take the appropriate actions to protect valuable assets, the lives of the public and company employees. Learn and observe how to investigate, identify, and classify natural gas leaks and assess the need for emergency action and repair.
Requirements:
Educational - Must be age 18 or above and have a valid driver's license. Requires a general educational knowledge normally acquired through a high school diploma or a High School Equivalency Diploma (HSE) and be a student currently enrolled in a technical or associate of applied science degree program from an accredited college.
Computer Skills - Requires ability to utilize the Company's internet/intranet web site and available resources for data entry, reference and/or retrieval tasks. Requires a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications to create standardized documents, reports, or graphics.
Communication Skills - Requires the ability to communicate with internal/external customers to obtain and/or provide basic types of factual information in a professional and courteous manner.
Work Conditions - Works outdoors in all types of weather and may be exposed to extremes of climate and temperatures, and rough terrain.
Physical Demands - Requires the occasional performance of activities including, but not limited to, sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling. Requires acute sense of sight (corrected or uncorrected) and strong sense of smell.
