Insight Global is assisting a client that manufactures Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) as a turn key solution for large industrial and commercial applications. This role is an integral opening that will help with improving the overall survivability of products as they are transported or moved through manufacturing and to customer sites. This PLM Analyst role is ideal for someone detail‑oriented who thrives in structured, engineering‑driven environments. The analyst will play a key role in ensuring product and configuration data is accurate, enabling successful scaling of hardware programs and high‑quality product releases. Bill of Materials (BOM) & Product Data Management Maintain and validate Bill of Material accuracy across engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing teams. Enter, update, and manage product records and metadata within the PLM system (e.g., Smartsheet‑based PLM). Ensure alignment of part lifecycles, revisions, and supporting documentation. Change Control & Lifecycle Management Manage ECOs, ECNs, revisions, and part lifecycle updates, ensuring full traceability. Support clean and timely handoffs from design to build, maintaining configuration discipline across programs. Identify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement in PLM workflows. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and build teams to assess requested changes, validate data, and ensure readiness for production. Communicate changes, risks, and status updates to project leads and stakeholders. Support scaling hardware programs by ensuring data accuracy and consistent release processes. Program & Administrative Support Offload administrative tasks from Program Leads by owning PLM documentation, updates, and data control processes. Assist in preparing reports, release packages, and documentation for internal reviews and supplier communication. Qualifications Required Experience with BOM management, ECO workflows, and product data control. Familiarity with PLM systems (manual or platform‑based such as Smartsheet PLM). Experience in hardware, mechanical, or manufacturing environments. Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and communication skills. Hourly Rate: $30/hr-$40/hr
