The Operational Excellence Analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing the corporate operational excellence strategy, at the Pueblo Division with a focus on safety improvements, employee engagement, and cultural transformation. Successful candidates for the Operational Excellence Analyst role will have previous industrial experience in continuous improvement, manufacturing, operations, reliability, quality assurance, or metallurgy.
Facilitate the implementation of safety and operational continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, idea generation sessions, and other relevant tools or methodologies.
Analyze existing workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to drive key business metrics of productivity, OTIF, and EBITDA
Utilize process experts, department leaders, and floor employees as needed to generate improvement ideas and accomplish key objectives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and safety improvements
Support decision-making through data visualization and dashboards
Facilitate cultural transformation by collaborating with employees at all levels of the organization to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical, Mechanical, or Metallurgical Engineering preferred; other engineering disciplines will be considered
3-5 years' experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with assignments in lean manufacturing/continuous improvement

Description/Duties:
The Certification & Evaluation Senior Military OperationsAnalyst Task Lead Ground-Based Mid-course Defense (GMD) will support the US Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) in Schriever Space Force Base, CO. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Serves as Task Lead for Certification and Evaluation Support.
Conducts Assessment of GMD located at Schriever SFB, CO and at Ft. Greely, AK.
Plans, resources, and conducts certification assessments for GMD crews.
Supports certifications and certification events to include brigade external evaluations (EXEVALs) by developing master scenario event list (MSELs), exercise development products when requested and coordinates through the G3 TREX.
Conducts military decision making process (MDMP), briefings and professional writing for USASMDC GMD mission areas.
Plans, develops, and prepares recommendations to update/revise the Command's Standards & Evaluations Programs focusing on the GMD mission areas and be able to support other USASMDC mission areas as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
An ACTIVE TS/SCI Secret Security Clearance is required.
Candidate must have a bachelor's degree, advanced military education such as Non-Commissioned Officer Education (NVOEs), battle staff or Officer Education System (OES).
Candidate must have 5+ years of GMD operator and/or planner experience.
Must have GMD education to include GMD Qualification Course (GQC) or Missile Defense Officer Qualification Course (MDOQC) and Army GMD Staff Officer Course.
Familiarity with AN/TPY-2 radars operating in Forward-Base Mode (FBM) and can support Radar Operators and Sensor Manager OREs when required.
Must possess a working knowledge of GMD, general GMD operational equipment and GMD operations software applications used by the crews as well as the fundamentals of how GMD planning, and fundamentals of how GMD enables the Warfighter.
Experience with GMD staff operations, Missile Defense Element (MDE) and Fire Detection Center (FDC) and GMD exercise support is required.
Bde or above level staff experience including orders productions, Tier 1 level exercise planning, and staff processes.
Professional experience in Army writing, briefing, and presentations is required.

Experienced defense and security operator and leader required; at least four years of experience working in civil-military emergency operations desired.
Prior experience in the area of foreign consequence management to include the Defense Threat Reduction Agency's exercise program and planning guide, and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Instruction 3214.01A (Military Support to Foreign Consequence Management Operations) is desirable.
Prior experience developing, planning, and participating in CBRNE training events or exercises is desirable.
Extensive knowledge of first responder operational requirements and training needs is desirable.
Prior experience in performing training capability or training needs assessments.
Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of tools.

Education and Experience

Must schedule and pass the BCBA exam within 3 months of completing Student Analyst program

Must commit to one year as a BCBA with InBloom, upon extension of an offer for a BCBA position
