Belvoir, VA REPORTS TO: SABG Program Manager FLSA STATUS: Regular Full-Time Exempt SUMMARY: SABG is hiring an Operations Support Analyst Advanced to support Warfighter Operational Integration work with the Missile Defense Agency. Ideal candidates will have experience in the management and program analysis field relating to: military operational concepts/capabilities; integration and fielding of complex weapon systems; conducting strategic high-level coordination activities; deliberate planning; test support; problem solving and working independently. Specific duties include: Interface with MDA leadership to help shape strategic vision and policy. Support the development and modification of DoD and MDA issuances. Draft talking points, point papers and Power Point briefs/presentations to support MDA Director engagements with leadership, congress, and outside organizations. Develop white papers for senior leadership, consolidating relevant background information to inform future decisions. Conduct detailed mission analysis providing a clear synopsis of the situation under discussion for leadership decisions. Provide multiple courses of action for leadership selection. SUPERVISION: This position has no supervisory responsibilities MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Has specialized relevant knowledge and works as a member of the team and assists with solving complex problems. Advanced level working knowledge, skills, and abilities using Microsoft Office. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on data.
