Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking Systems Engineering Analysts with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience to support the Next Generation Tactical Fixed Wing Systems, Autonomous Systems, Weapons, and Training Systems based at the sites in Saint Louis, MO.
The selected candidate will work with the Integrated Product Teams to define and develop the product's system architecture from initial design to product verification, including development and maintenance of requirements, interfaces, and behaviors for the product. The candidate will refine and implement system modeling best practices on the program, in coordination with the Lead Model Architect for the program. The candidate will work with the specialty engineering and system analysis teams to further expand the modeling infrastructure to enable work to be performed in the model.
The ideal candidate(s) will be able to leverage their experience in MBSE to address complex technical problems, support cross-functional engineering teams with SE and MBSE, and manage the program's systems engineering model. As a MBSE analyst, you will routinely develop and review solutions within Magic Systems of Systems Architecture (MSOSA) / Cameo. This role will enable technical growth in Digital & Systems Engineering.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate, Experienced and Lead (Levels 2, 3 or 4) Systems Engineer Analysts.
Position Responsibilities:
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to decompose requirements into functional and logical architectures and allocate to physical implementation.
Lead cross-functional teams to define and maintain system requirements, interfaces, behaviors, and verification criteria.
Apply MBSE and SysML to develop and maintain system architecture models, traceability, analyses, and trade studies for lifecycle milestones.
Customize and extend MSOSA toolset: develop profiles, macros, plugins, processes, templates, and automation for program needs.
Improve MBSE training/processes/tools, and foster strong customer relationships to meet digital engineering and Air Dominance best practices.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically and/or Internationally depending on business needs.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
A final U.S. Secret or Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
May require the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Advanced technical degree (e.g. Bachelors) or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

The candidate will refine and implement system modeling best practices on the program, in coordination with the Lead Model Architect for the program. The candidate will work with the specialty engineering and system analysis teams to further expand the modeling infrastructure to enable work to be performed in the model.
The ideal candidate(s) will be able to leverage their experience in MBSE to address complex technical problems, support cross-functional engineering teams with SE and MBSE, and manage the program's systems engineering model. As a MBSE analyst, you will routinely develop and review solutions within Magic Systems of Systems Architecture (MSOSA) / Cameo. This role will enable technical growth in Digital & Systems Engineering.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate, Experienced and Lead (Levels 2, 3 or 4) Systems Engineer Analysts.
Position Responsibilities:
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to decompose requirements into functional and logical architectures and allocate to physical implementation.
Lead cross-functional teams to define and maintain system requirements, interfaces, behaviors, and verification criteria.
Apply MBSE and SysML to develop and maintain system architecture models, traceability, analyses, and trade studies for lifecycle milestones.
Customize and extend MSOSA toolset: develop profiles, macros, plugins, processes, templates, and automation for program needs.
Improve MBSE training/processes/tools, and foster strong customer relationships to meet digital engineering and Air Dominance best practices.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically and/or Internationally depending on business needs.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
A final U.S. Secret or Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
May require the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Advanced technical degree (e.g. Bachelors) or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
2+ years of experience with systems engineering processes and tools
1+ years of experience creating MBSE systems models in Cameo, Magic Systems of Systems Architect (MSOSA), Rhapsody, or similar systems modeling software tools
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Level 3: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Level 4: 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience/domain knowledge of system architecture, requirements, interface definition, verification, and validation
Experience with complex systems development and integration (e.g. aircraft systems, communication systems, avionics systems, etc.)
Experience with implementation and maintenance of systems engineering tools, schedules and metrics (i.e. MSOSA/Cameo, DOORS, Earned value management)
Active U.S. Secret Clearance within the last 24 months

Experienced (Level 3): $95,200 - $128,800
