Summary/Function: The Clearance and Settlement Specialist is responsible for trade reconciliation, processing daily security trade settlements, reconciling securities, and money transactions. The qualified candidate will possess the ability to multi-task, have good organization skills, retain a proven track record of producing accurate work and display a keen attention for detail. Operations Associates are responsible for maintenance and housekeeping of grain and agronomy equipment, monitoring and ensuring high-quality grain condition in bins, loading/unloading of customer trucks and wagons with grain and agronomy products, operating company agricultural equipment as needed, delivering fertilizer and chemicals to applicators, customers, and other Frontier Cooperative locations. Essential duties: Provide exceptional customer service to our patrons, customers, and employees in a courteous and professional manner at all times. Operations Associates assist customers with purchasing bulk fertilizers, chemicals, and seed, as well as delivering grain commodities to the terminal. Control all load-out functions including blending and loading agronomy products, loading/unloading grain trucks, and maintaining the quality of inventory and blended products. Perform warehouse and other agricultural-related duties such as operating tractors, machinery, forklifts, loaders, bobcats, etc. Assist with routine building, grounds, vehicle, and equipment maintenance and repair; perform housekeeping inside and outside of all facilities, offices, mills, and elevators. Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, complete training and follow regulations. On occasion, Operations Associates may assist loading and unloading rail cars when needed. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn. + Autonomy & Decision-Making: Follows directions and refers all exceptions to supervisor. + Career Path: Senior Equipment Coordinator **Key Role Responsibilities - Core** _EQUIPMENT OPERATIONS COORDINATOR FAMILY - CORE_ + Performs routine duties and transactions in purchasing, fleet/inventory counter operations, billing, and distribution in support of equipment rental and construction supply business. + Performs accurate data entry utilizing ERP software for rental and material transactions. + Provides timely response via phone calls and emails from internal and external customers and vendors for routine information related primarily to equipment and material transactions. + Provides customers and vendors with pricing, availability, and specification details relating to inventory and equipment questions. + May have responsibility for shipping, receiving, and storing fleet and inventory materials. + Organizes and consolidates incoming and outgoing equipment and inventory loads and validates transfer tickets to ensure accurate transactions. + May provide guidance to drivers on the proper storage locations for equipment and inventory items utilizing thorough knowledge of warehouse organization. + Participates in regularly scheduled safety meetings. + Demonstrates fundamental understanding of the equipment rental business as it applies to company by utilizing key operational reports. + Participates in the continuous improvement plan by identifying opportunities in the current process and voicing potential improvements. + Provides suggestions and participates in drafting Small Win communications. + Writes Purchase Orders as directed for inventory, equipment, and job material needs through the company ERP system. + Provides follow up on submitted purchase orders and communicates with requestor. + Conducts research on equipment and inventory as directed and updates information in logistics catalog. **Key Role Responsibilities - Additional Core** N/A **Knowledge, Skills & Abilities** + Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner + Communication skills, verbal and written + Proficiency in MS Office + Ability to learn the operating systems for data entry + Ability to identify common construction materials and equipment + Ability to provide excellent customer service through positive interaction with customers + Basic understanding of internal equipment management tools + Thorough knowledge of logistics operations including warehouse organization, storage of goods, traffic flow and the fulfillment process from start to finish + Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally **Education** + High School Diploma or GED (Required) + In lieu of the above requirements, relevant experience will be considered. **Experience** + 2+ years rental, warehouse or construction materials experience (Preferred) **Working Environment** + Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds + Typically travel is not required + Normal office environment, but may be exposed to extreme conditions (hot or cold) + Frequent activity: Standing, Walking, Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen + Occasional activity: Bending, Climbing, Reaching above Shoulder, Pushing, Pulling **Benefits Information** The benefits package aligned to this position is Professional Non-Union.
