    Blue Cypress is seeking a Utility Management Services (UMS) Regional Director to support current projects and facilitate the expansion of our utility management consulting services group in the Pacific Northwest. This position will work closely with our existing UMS staff in Seattle, Atlanta, and Cincinnati, seeking to expand the current project work we are currently conducting with a number of clients in the PNW, win work with new clients, expand our services, and facilitate career development of staff. It is our intent to continue growing our presence in the Seattle area and to continue supporting our clients in the region. As an integral part of our business development and technical team, the UMS Regional Director will manage client projects, lead/mentor early- and mid-career staff, develop and maintain client relationships, and lead business development activities. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 15 years of experience primarily as a utility management and/or engineering consultant at an A&E firm; public sector experience is also valued. The successful candidate will have a strong professional network within the Seattle metro-area and a technical focus on water, wastewater, and/or stormwater systems or management of transportation systems (transit, highway, airport). This candidate must have a successful track record of leadership and mentorship, delivering projects on time and on budget, developing and maintaining client relationships, managing complex projects, leading business development activities, and working closely with a team made up of supervisor and peers.
