You'll focus on technical validation, analysis, and performance of the design. The Reactor Systems and Heat Transport department at Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is seeking a highly motivated Computational Thermal-Hydraulics Engineer to support advanced modeling and simulation efforts for nuclear energy systems at our Idaho Falls, Idaho location. Our team works a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off. This position focuses on high-fidelity computational fluid dynamics (CFD), thermal-hydraulics, and verification and validation (V&V) of simulation tools and experimental benchmarks. The successful candidate will contribute to national and international collaborative efforts, supporting the development of next-generation nuclear technologies.
