Production OperatorPerforms a variety of tasks requiring knowledge of production processes and responsible for day to day operations associated with the production lines.
Essential Functions
Responsible for overall maintaining of a production line, including starting and stopping of all equipment (palletizers, carton makers, carton sealers, drop packers, injection, etc.) as applicable.
Ability to perform minor adjustments to production equipment as directed. No mechanical work is to be performed without prior approval.
Responsible for accurately completing and updating information forms and logs such as Machine Report, Quality Report, Downtime Report and Carton Top Load Report
Ability to recognize unsafe conditions and actions and follow plant safety rules including safe lifting practices and safe machine operations. Personal protective equipment is to be used where required.
Housekeeping: maintain general housekeeping in all areas of production, including the break rooms and rest rooms. Bale plastic, cardboard and contaminated bottles when needed; grind bottles when needed.
Raw materials: keep bottle caps, labels, cartons, trays, tray and pallet wraps (plastic rolls), pallet glue for hot melt tanks, slip sheets, etc. in adequate amounts to ensure continuous smooth running of equipment and operation.
Maintain quality requirements in accordance with company standards; accurately filling out hourly inspection sheets based on overall production quality. Responsible for recognizing and reporting all quality defects immediately.
Ability to work in multiple areas of production with minimal supervision; perform relief duties when required
Ability to troubleshoot minor production equipment issues in all areas and collaborate with maintenance team as necessary.
Understanding of computer systems such as Oracle/MES or current order management system
Comprehension of line flow and manufacturing process to maximize through put
Ability to communicate issues clearly and concisely
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.

The Machine Operator I reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Follow all process documents, such as work instructions, procedures, inspection criteria. Report results in appropriate Quality Management System (QMS) and communicate non-conformances to leadership.
Manufacture products in alignment with defined output standards as measured by daily operational efficiency.
Demonstrate flexibility of schedule when pursuing training opportunities to achieve personal and company objectives.
Understands and adheres to all safety requirements. Communicates identified risks to leadership and assists in resolution.
Completes all 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) standards to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
Maintains regular and reliable attendance.

Machine Operator
Primary Duty:
Operate, Troubleshoot, and Verify Product Quality on a Brake and/or Punch Press in a Metal Fabrication shop. Position is responsible for following all company safety policies, confirming and maintaining all manufacturing standards, and ensuring work schedules are accomplished. General Duties: Observe all safety precautions and plant regulations to prevent injury to self and others or damage to material or equipment. Maintain a clean safe working area including sweeping
Upon training & qualification, perform miscellaneous duties as required including machine operation (turrets, brakes, presses, panel benders, tube benders, etc), final panel assembly, infill pad creation, crating, forklift operation, inventory counting, and assisting others.
Working Responsibilities:
Follow all Company and OSHA Safety Policies.
Cut & form components from blueprint specification and/or Work Orders to required tolerances.
Work with steel, aluminum, curved and angled parts
Know and follow all Safety Protocols regarding specific machine you are running

Operate machinery or stations as instructed by the Team Leader to meet scheduled demands.
