Essential Functions:
* Ensure the cost effective and efficient performance of all pipelines, valves and other related facilities. Responsible for installing, relocating, replacing, maintaining and repairing gas lines. Inspect pipeline and structural welding required for construction and maintenance of Company facilities including the installation, operation, and maintenance of distribution and transmission facilities.
* Responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of all facilities and equipment, including pipeline right-of-way. Tasks include excavation, repairing, coating, backfilling, concrete work, painting, building erection, weed control, and assisting other technical teams as needed.
* Locate and mark facilities per Company Damage Prevention Program and One-Call procedures prior to and during encroachments and excavations. Coordinate local Damage Prevention activities.
* Perform pipeline patrols, population density surveys, leak detection surveys and inspection per company procedures.
* Responsible for inspection duties per Company policies including: completion of required documentation, as-built drawings, contractor oversight and supervision, act as Company representative during construction activities, report progress to Operations Management and ensure proper reporting and compliance with Safety and Environmental policies.
* Participates in quality emergency responder programs. Perform governmental compliance activities (PHMSA, State Agencies, EPA, USFS, etc.). Identify report and correct safety and environmental concerns.
* Represent the Company during contacts with landowner/tenant, public official, emergency official and local organization (i.e. One-Call, Pipeline Group, Soil Conservation, etc.) meetings.
* Inspect/oversee the construction and /or maintenance activities performed by third parties. Train and oversee company and third party personnel as required (i.e. personnel in progression, contractors, visitors, etc.).
* Perform mapping, record keeping and data entry duties per company policies. Participate in the development of O&M Procedures, Site Specific Procedures, project scopes and work plans.

Operations internship job in Pine Bluffs, WY
Primary purpose: Responsible for the installation, operation and maintenance of Company gas/liquid pipelines, compressor stations, pump stations, terminals, process plants and other related facilities. Implementation of the Company Damage Prevention Program including performing and coordinating work group activities including Patrolling, locating, construction and inspection, and excavation inspection of Company gas/liquids pipelines. Level 1 is an entry level position with approximately six to twelve months of training/work experience in order progress to next level.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain pipelines, compressors and auxiliary equipment, engines, turbines, motors, cooling equipment, pump stations, pumps, dehydration equipment, valves, seals and other related equipment.
* Ensure the cost effective and efficient performance of all engines, pumps and associated equipment at compressor stations, pump stations, pipelines and process plants. Start, stop and operate engines/pumps within defined operating parameters.
* Diagnose and repair engines, turbines, pumps, seals, valves and instruments.
* Install, repair, service and maintain valves, pipe, and pipeline appurtenances.
* Operate, maintain, adjust and make minor repairs on equipment such as industrial wheeled tractors, water pumps, air compressors, expanders, coolers, test equipment, vehicles, etc.
* Locate and mark facilities per Company Damage Prevention Program and One-Call procedures prior to and during excavation.
* Provide oversight and inspection to ensure asset protection and compliance with Company procedures of excavation activities near pipeline facilities.
