**Work Place Flexibility:** Onsite **Legal Entity:** Entergy Services, LLC **Job Summary/Purpose** Responsible for scheduling, assigning, managing, and monitoring the safe execution of construction work. **Job Duties/Responsibilities** + Ensure all work meets company standards while ensuring that all workmanship complies with Entergy's safety guidelines and practices. Have extensive knowledge of a working distribution system.
+ Prepare and carry out switching orders for the distribution system.
+ Work with Engineering, Vegetation, DOC and other departments in seeing that all facilities are constructed and maintained according to company specifications, standards, and policies. Including working with Data Maintenance to ensure accurate mapping and documentation is entered correctly.
+ Work emergency or storm restoration in other areas as needed. Read and interpret construction prints.
+ Work with external and internal customers. Scheduling customer notifications of planned outages.
+ Assume Supervisor's duties for a short time in their absence.
+ Engaging with contractor partners, ensuring compliance with Entergy safety rules. A minimum of 50% of time will be spent in the field as oversight.

Primary Purpose: The Senior Machinery Specialist will act as a maintenance subject matter expert for rotating equipment including Gas Turbines, Centrifugal & Reciprocating compressors, Cryogenic & all types of Centrifugal & Reciprocating pumps, HV & MV motors, Fans, Blowers and all accessory equipment of rotating equipment.
This position will be located in Hackberry, Louisiana. Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC) is required. Employees' primary residence must be located within a one-hour drive from the Hackberry plant site.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and oversee maintenance activities for rotating equipment, ensuring compliance with HSSE standards and company policies.
* Develop scopes of work and method statements for major maintenance of Rotating equipment.
* Assist planning and lead field execution of major overhauls for critical rotating equipment, coordinating with CLNG maintenance, OEMs, and contractors.
* Serve as the primary field expert for rotating equipment during maintenance, inspections, and overhauls.
* Perform troubleshooting and recommend corrective actions to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
* Provide technical mentorship and training to maintenance staff and contractors.
* Ensure compliance with API, ANSI, and other relevant industry standards and best practices for rotating equipment.
* Oversee offsite repairs of critical rotating equipment.
* Maintain and ensure accurate and complete documentation of maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

* Able to replace hydrodynamic bearings and anti-friction bearings on rotating equipment
* Able to perform precision measurements, and alignment of multi-machine train

* Knowledgeable in rotating equipment condition monitoring techniques like vibration monitoring, lube oil monitoring and thermography
* Knowledge in auxiliary rotating equipment (e.g. seal plan systems and lube oil systems)
