Operations support technician job description

The Technician, under partial supervision, participates in preventive maintenance and repair of tools and equipment according to D&M and company standards, procedures, and practices. The Tech1 continues to gain additional experience and expertise through on the job training and prepares to attend further training schools to enhance his/her proficiency.

- Follows the equip program.- Supervises trainee technicians in his/her area of expertise.- Meets and maintains all minimum OFS Safety Training Coefficient (STC) requirements as well as job related STCB. Processes - Works under partial supervision of experienced maintenance technician staff to gain proficiency in additional module.- Perform the maintenance on equipment with supervision working towards a final goal of being able to work without supervision.- Follows and implements the R&M process (RITE) and utilizes appropriate maintenance manuals and procedures including relevant use of RMS and associated paperwork.- Keeps up-to-date with mod-recaps, TIR's and the implementation of these in tools.- Actively participates in knowledge sharing and reuse.- Follows and complies with all company and D&M policies, wears all personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.- Proactively monitors use, and re-ordering of required inventory and spare parts.

CACI is hiring a UDS Video Teleconference Operations Support Technician (VTOC) to provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to the NGA Video Teleconference (VTC) systems.

More About the Role:

Scheduling and managing local and remote AV/VTC events, to include scheduling of physical room space when required Generate Tier 1-3 incident tickets in Service Now
Provide Closed Captioning Support for all Tier 1 VTC for the hearing-impaired community Provide user education and training on VTC equipment and other basic hardware and software



You'll Bring These Qualifications:

Experience or knowledge of
Cisco TelePresence Management Suite (TMS) CISCO Telepresence 6000, 8000 MXP, EX90, DX80, SX20 H323, H320 and SIP protocols

The Operations Support Technician is responsible for conducting aerial and terrestrial surveying for the purposes of engineering and inventory evaluation.In this role you conduct data analysis and processing, and generates necessary documents, maps, reports, etc. You will also assist mine engineers with mine planning designs and help facilitate execution of mine plans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate small Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (sUAV) surveying systems for inventory, mine planning, drill & blasting initiatives, topography mapping, and stripping calculations. Operate sUAV systems for capturing digital media for inspection, operational, and promotional needs. Assists mine engineers in preforming ground-based mine surveying duties at surface and underground mining operations. Conduct inventory review and analysis including the bi-annual physical-to-book inventory assessment process for all locations and lines of business. Help maintain updated mine mapping database. Assists engineers and surveyors in laying out and directing mine construction operations, such as location and development of ramps and positioning of mining area, access roads etc. Assists engineers in developing and documenting short, middle, and long-range mine plans. Supports CAPEX project management when needed. Will work with company management and State and Federal agencies to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Adhere to any and all state and federal regulations, if applicable, as set forth by the US Department of Transportation (DOT), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), or any other regulatory agency. Will work with the team to ensure company compliance with mandated safety and environmental policies on all mining/material production practices. Perform various tasks and duties as required by the Operations Support department.


Other requirements


Mining related associates or bachelors' diploma OR minimum of 4 years of experience in mining operations.
FAA Part 107 Commercial drone pilot license required or will be able to acquire licensure within 90 days. Previous surveying or sUAV piloting experience preferred
Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have valid driver's license Consistently display a professional and courteous attitude towards co-workers, customers, and the general public. Willing to learn and discover new software systems (such as Carlson) and technologies (new drones, surveying equipment). Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required. Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary. Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Environmental, Health & Safety Manual. Strong Team player who is highly self-motivated and can work independently when needed. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organization and multi-tasking skills.
