Job Details Ft Stewart, GA Full Time $27.49 Hourly DayHEAVY TRUCK DRIVER is responsible for operating and maintaining heavy trucks. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Operates and maintains heavy trucks of four (4) tons or over and associated equipment and trailers. Performs vehicle safety and operations checks before beginning route. Cleans and wash trucks daily. Hauls dirt with off road articulating and tandem axel dump trucks to various landfill sites for daily and/or intermediate cover. Sets up traffic control devices around work sites. Inspects job sites for possible hazards. Performs other duties as required or assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or equivalent GED Minimum of three (3) years' experience operating heavy truck of over 4 tons. Valid Georgia Commercial Driver's License Class A or Class B with HAZMAT Endorsement, as required. Ability to maintain military gate pass.
