What You'll Do
Operate the Track Hoe and Backhoe to efficiently excavate trenches, backfill, and handle the loading and unloading of materials and equipment as required for each project.
Drive crew trucks, pickup trucks, and other motorized vehicles to transport tools, materials, and personnel to and from job sites when needed.

Sun Polymers International, Inc. is seeking 1st shift (5am-5pm) and 2nd shift (5pm-5am) Blending Operators to facilitate the manufacturing of resin. Operators will be responsible for staging, prepping, loading, cooking, sampling, testing, and offloading finished products. Blending operators also ensure machinery and reactors operate adequately.
We are looking for experienced, energetic, and dynamic laborers who can perform in a plant working environment with varying climates seeking to progress with an industry leader to take our company to the next level in terms of quality and environmentally safe products. Training will be conducted on day shift for approximately 45 days.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Load reactors with materials (chemicals) in various stages.
Monitor and observe production to ensure the flow of production is not interrupted.
Monitor control boards that control production temperatures to meet specifications.
Perform sampling and testing on hot resin to ensure products meet specifications.
Ensure the production area is clean and free of debris.
Responsible for moving materials to production areas.
Adhere to safety guidelines dictation of the production and handling of materials in a factory.
Ensure that production deadlines are met.
Report issues or problems to immediate Team Lead or Supervisor.
Complete production daily tasks as required.
Other duties as assigned
Assist in other departments as needed; cross training provided
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High School diploma or GED required.
Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
Attention to detail.
Strong communication skills.
General math.
Large scale blending/mixing/batching experience (2 years)
Experience operating machinery or equipment.
Must past drug and background.

Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times.
Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).

Operates forklift, current forklift certification required.
Inspects forklift before and after trips and submits report indicating forklift condition.
Accurate loading of outbound shipments.
Receives finished goods.
Properly documenting and unloading inbound loads.
Properly documenting any changes on Bills of Lading.
Transfer finished goods from production line to storage rack or transfer trailer.
Proper documentation of product location movement.
Maintain proper GMP conditions on loading docks and warehouses.
