The Grain Mill Operator is responsible for the efficient and accurate operation of grain milling equipment used in processing sunflower seeds and other specialty grains. Manufacture parts to blueprints and/or sketches using Operator Inspection Instructions (OII) as guide
Inspect parts produced as instructed by Operator Inspection Instructions (OII), teacher, set-up person, lead-person or supervisor using tools such as tape measure, caliper, micrometer, protractor and document findings
Upon completion of production operation, return pattern, check fixture and any documentation forms to proper location
Operate various types and sizes of stamping presses in a safe and efficient manner or some machines including milling machines, CNC machines, spot welders, turret machines, rivet machine and others as instructed
Use software programs to enter time/payroll information, job information, etc.
Perform those duties as specified on the Daily Maintenance/Safety Checklist for equipment being operated
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
What you need to be a Production Operator:
Graduation from high school or 18 years of age
Must pass math measurement/blueprint test with 85% or better
Some knowledge of the equipment, materials, methods and practices used in the production process
Some knowledge of related safety requirements to include proper use of safety equipment and proper safety precautions
Ability to understand and follow routine oral and written instructions
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
Must have average math skills and mechanical ability

The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of multiple pieces of construction equipment. The Equipment Operator is proficient in the use of a diverse range of construction equipment, including, but not limited to Excavators, Scrapers, Loaders, Dozers, Rollers, Graders and Skid Steers.
Responsibilities:
Operate various pieces of construction equipment used in earth moving operations (ex. Scraper, Articulated off-road-trucks, compactors, excavators, etc.…)
Operate construction equipment in accordance with company procedures and safety regulations
Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment
Operate the equipment in the right direction and angles to prevent accidents and damage of property
Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, and lubricate, refill and clean equipment as necessary
Use various pieces of equipment to perform fine grading and finishing, sloping, and banking, backfilling, demolition, ditching, loading, excavating and stockpiling
Operate equipment in various situations, maintaining proper awareness of one's surroundings

Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum three years of operating construction equipment
Experience on multiple pieces of construction equipment is preferred
Possess a valid driver license
Ability to pass a pre-employment urine drug test and submit to random drug and/or alcohol testing during employment
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions
Exposure to moving mechanical parts
