**Your role at Clorox:**
The Technical Process Operator (TPO) is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment in the production of plastic trash bags and food storage wrap. TPOs are assigned to one of four departments based on business needs:
1) Conversion - operate bag making and packaging equipment
2) Extrusion - operate film making, tape slitting, and reclaim production equipment
3) Food - operate extrusion, forming, winding, and packaging equipment
4) Logistics - operate fork trucks, palletizers, robots, and trash compacting equipment
**In this role, you will:**
All new employees are hired for night shift (6P - 6A) and work a 2-2-3 schedule including holidays and weekends as required.
Starting pay rate is $22.60/hour plus $1.25/hour night shift premium.
Essential Functions
TPOs must be able to perform the following essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation:
+ Operate and maintain equipment and processes according to specifications and standard operating procedures
+ Keep raw materials, commodities, cartons, cases, and glue stocked during production periods

What You'll Accomplish
The Production Operator position is involved in all aspects of the production of our premium pet food. They are responsible for setting-up, operating, and disassembling processing equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). They will operate multiple types of processing equipment, including but not limited to extrusion, injection molding, dryers, cutting, and packaging machinery according to scheduled production needs. In addition, operators maintain their assigned production area, following safety procedures and cleanliness standards. The operator will also troubleshoot equipment issues and complete required food safety checks to ensure first-time right production.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Sets-up, operates and disassembles processing equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) according to production schedule.
Troubleshoots equipment as needed.
Monitors product, completing various checks to ensure product is running according to job specifications.
Reviews and follows production schedule throughout shift.
Adjusts equipment during product changeovers.
Checks and documents product according to SOPs to ensure the highest quality standards.
Cleans work area according to sanitation SOPs. Maintains cleanliness throughout work shift.
Monitors equipment and uses various tools to make adjustments, small repairs and perform basic maintenance as required.
Completes re-work as necessary.
Maintains records and logs within designated production system during entire production process
Performs and documents in-process quality checks on a periodic basis on representative samples to ensure that product is correctly produced/packaged.
Cleans, disassembles and reassembles line equipment to prepare machines for inspection and/or deep cleaning.
Changeover/sets up machine for run by loading product, components, printer material, etc.; adjusting settings; checking the line; and obtaining line clearance to prepare equipment for next run.
Actively follows safety procedures and policies in all job tasks.
Follows and holds others accountable for following all company GMPs.

Safety:

Accept personal responsibility for your own safety by working to maintain a safe work environment and evaluating all tasks utilizing the Covia SLAM (Stop, Look, Analyze, Manage) risk protocol. Report all near miss incidents, unsafe acts, or situations and injuries immediately.
Administer all facets of the safety and health policies while adhering to the SLAM risk method within the sphere of all tasks.
Work at the operation only if the worker is in a fit condition to carry out the work without affecting the safety and health of others.
Not do anything willfully or recklessly that might adversely affect the health and safety of fellow employees or visitors at the operation.
Operations:
Adhere to site procedures and instructions given by supervisor or team lead.
Operate equipment in a safe manner, which is most efficient and reduces damage, downtime, and maintains product quality.
Physical manual labor including shoveling, sweeping, carrying material, as well as the climbing of ladders will be part of the daily required work.
Operate equipment including, but not limited to, bucket elevators, ball mill, belt and pneumatic conveyors, dust collectors, kiln, screens, and so forth.
Monitor all equipment in the plant, such as temperature, pressures, amperes, etc. and interpret data, charts, and instruments to make process adjustments as needed.
Complete required paperwork in an orderly, accurate, and professional fashion.
Assist with any continuous improvement projects as necessary.
Perform pre-shift and routine equipment and area inspections; maintain safe work environments in the facility. Communicate findings of daily shift inspections to Production Supervisor and Kiln Operators as to allow for a consistent and full understanding of production line conditions.
Ensure material flows through process to product bins and tanks.
Collect and process raw material and product samples, record and report results, and change operating parameters as required or directed.
Safely move, switch, offload, and load rail cars via Track Mobile.
Safely move, offload, and load trucks. Trucks being loaded will be loaded on the truck scale requiring accurate weighing and bill of lading preparation for transport.
Safely operate forklifts.
Maintain housekeeping in assigned areas by using a handheld shovel and broom.
Perform all other duties as needed or assigned.
The successful candidate will have the following Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required.
Kiln or ball mill operations experience will be given preference.
Experience in heavy industry, mineral processing, or manufacturing will be given preference.
Demonstrated experience contributing within a production/operations team to deliver against set targets.
Demonstrated commitment to safety and health with previous experience in identifying and managing risks.
Ability to operate computer programs as required.

About the Role:
The Terra Gator Operator plays a critical role in the efficient and safe application of agricultural products across large-scale farming operations. This position requires the operation of specialized Terra Gator equipment to distribute fertilizers, pesticides, and other materials accurately and effectively, ensuring optimal crop health and yield. The operator must maintain a strong focus on safety protocols and equipment maintenance to minimize downtime and prevent accidents. Collaboration with agronomy teams and farm management is essential to align application schedules with crop needs and environmental conditions. Ultimately, the role contributes directly to the productivity and sustainability of agricultural operations by leveraging technical expertise and operational precision. This position is a safety-sensitive position and requires a clear mind and diligence. The employee has the responsibility for his/her own safety as well as the safety of others.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
* Experience operating heavy agricultural machinery, preferably Terra Gator or similar equipment.

* Pull soil samples and have soil analysis completed before moving onto a new field.
* Record and subtract loads applied in the field log after every application.

* Monitor frac tank levels and report to the manager daily.
* Maintain accurate and correct paperwork (not an all-inclusive listing): Field Logs; Gator DVIRs; Environmental Logs, etc.
* Inspect all paperwork that is sent off to corporate, ensuring the following: filled out completely, signed, dated, corrected (if necessary), and that you agree with the documents you are signing.
* Inspect and maintain all equipment being used in the field.
* Be aware of all equipment malfunctions and parts repair or replacement.
* Ensure safe equipment operation.
* Accurately complete Gator DVIR daily.
* Follow Terragator PM Schedule for services and greasing of all fittings.
* Ensure the Area Manager is aware of all equipment issues.
* Maintain a safe work environment, wearing all proper PPE while in operation.
* Report any spills to management immediately.
