Job Description Title: Production Operator- Night Shifts Reports to: Shift Foreman Location: St. Peters, MO Posted: 10/22/24 Zoltek-Toray Group is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team in St. Peters, MO as Production Operators in our Carbon Fiber Composite Intermediates facility. Zoltek produces essential products based on the definition designated by the CISA (Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, a division of the US Department of Homeland Security). Our St. Peters facility supplies global products to wind turbine generators for renewable energy. Zoltek's manufacturing of pultrusion materials is a key component of the wind turbine blades, which is a critical component to support the US energy infrastructure. Why work at Zoltek:
Compensation: The starting rate for this role is $18.69/hr. There is also a 7.5% pay differential for those who work the Night Shift schedule.
Home/Work Life Balance: The full-time operator positions work 12-hour shifts. Night shift schedule is 5:45 PM to 6:00 AM. The work week is an alternating 36 or 48 hours (12 hour shifts rotating on a 2 weeks cycle: 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off) resulting in a 3 day weekend every other week and some built in overtime.
Development: Zoltek has a developed on-the-job training program staffed with dedicated trainers who are here to help you succeed in passing evaluations and substantially increasing your pay.

Setting-up and operating equipment to process carbon fiber for composite products (pultrusion, etc.)
Resin/polymer mixing, batch mixing
Continuous feeding of batch carbon fiber into machine, inspecting product during production, and inspecting finished goods before shipment
Restocking material
Packaging, labeling, documentation of products
Keeping equipment and work area safe, clean and organized, participating in safety culture
Effectively communicating with shift superintendent, foreman, and co-workers
Qualifications:
Graduation from high school or a GED is preferred
Experience of 1 year or more in manufacturing or a factory environment, chemicals/plastics industry experience is a plus
Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations, read and interpret documents, follow procedures, document information, communicate effectively with foreman and co-workers
Ability to work in production environment; troubleshoot and take effective corrective action to resolve problems
Willingness to maintain a safe and ethical work environment, and work as a team member

This job is primarily responsible for working at a facility that loads and unloads barges and trucks. This is a general laborer position that performs a wide variety of duties that are based on the daily needs of the operation; may include cleaning and repair of barges.

Perform all duties within compliance of OSHA, company safety, and environmental regulations (ISO where applicable); including wearing appropriate PPE for task being performed.
Perform deckhand responsibilities e.g., reading drafts, opening/closing lids, tying off barges, etc.
Perform all barge loading duties e.g., loading barges to meet draft and quality requirements and oversees deckhand(s). Note: Generally the duty of the most highly qualified person(s).
Perform duties to transfer, load and move grain to appropriate location, where applicable.
Perform duties required to maintain grain quality while being stored and/or transferred.
Complete documentation timely, accurately and legibly.
Perform general clean-up including sweeping, shoveling, washing, painting and other general housekeeping responsibilities.
Perform preventative maintenance and/or repairs, where applicable.
Dependent on facility and location, may be responsible for any variety of the following; unloading barges, cleaning barges, movement of product to storage, loading of trucks using heavy equipment, loading of rail, loading of products to required specifications; operating, running, monitoring, and shutting down dryer; operating a variety of heavy equipment.

This hourly role follows the Scotts/Hawthorne step pay progression scale and typically starts at $22.05 per hour and is paid weekly. Scotts/Hawthorne will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.
We're looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator for our Wright City mulch and soil manufacturing facility.
The Heavy Equipment Operator prepares organic mixes using a heavy equipment loader, pushes or relocates piles to ensure segregation of materials. Supplies production with a continuous supply of material. Monitors the stock piles for excessive heat, turns stockpiles, extinguishes small fires and ensures the proper amount of water is used to prepare the stockpile for production use.
What you'll do in this role:
Operate heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. Heavy equipment may include trucks, front-end loaders, dozers, graders, compactors, snowblowers and other pieces of equipment.
Clean, maintain and secure all equipment as directed by management and company policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
What you'll need to be successful:
Ability to work in a dusty, dirty environment.
Ability to work in all weather elements, including heat and cold.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Physical ability to climb in and out of equipment.
Ability to sit for long periods of time.

Apply Now JOB OVERVIEW: The purpose of this position is to operate a variety of County Parks equipment for the purpose of maintaining and constructing park roads, bridges, grounds, storm drains and infrastructure. Position is also responsible for the recruitment and operation of a construction crew from the Park Maintenance division to complete complex construction tasks. The work is performed under the supervision of the Park Superintendent.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Operates excavators, backhoes, aerial lifts, road graders, Bobcats, rollers, pavers, rubber tire loaders, sweeper, snow plows, dump trucks, and skid steer loaders for the purpose of maintaining and repairing County Park roads, bridges, grounds, drainage systems and infrastructure.
* Operates sand blasters, welders, hand excavation tools, saws, common hand tools, and paint sprayers for the purpose of maintaining and repairing County roads, bridges and drainage systems.
* Responsible for the recruitment and operation of a construction crew from Park Maintenance division to complete complex construction tasks.
* Patches roads and maintains pavement and asphalt.
* Removes, sets forms, pours, and finishes concrete.
* Transports materials to and from job sites.
* Maintains County vehicles and equipment.
* Uses equipment to assist Parks Natural Resource Staff to trim trees and vegetation in County Parks. Replaces dirt and seeds work areas.
* Maintains storm drains. Replaces pipes, clears debris, and patches holes on storm drains.
* Clears and plows snow off park roadways and paved surfaces.
* Records daily usage of equipment and supplies.
* Fabricates needed materials.
* Cleans Parks vehicles, equipment and maintenance facilities.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Education
* General/technical high school diploma or GED equivalent.
* Certifications
* A valid class A Commercial driver's license with air brake certification, or have the ability to obtain one within six months of employment.
* Job Experience
* 1-3 years of experience.
* 2-3 years of heavy equipment operating experience
