What You'll Do:
Process alarm signals quickly, accurately and professionally while managing stressful situations.

Accurately document all responses for the alarm on the computer.

Essential Functions
Operate compacters, crawlers, loaders, scrapers, dozers, belly dump trailers or related heavy equipment utilized in the moving, covering and compacting waste and animal carcasses deposited into the county landfill.
Check and service assigned equipment; perform routine maintenance and repairs; check and restore fluid levels; report mechanical problems for shop repairs. Clean windows, mirror and other glass surfaces to ensure high visibility and professional appearance. Ensure the interior of equipment is kept organized, clean and as soon a reasonably possible, remove stains, grease and other contaminants from various surfaces, including upholstery, carpets, and metal surfaces.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures according to Bonneville County policies, and State and Federal regulations.
Act as a waste screener; observe waste for containments and identifies hazardous waste or other materials excluded from deposit in public landfill.
Monitor patron/public activities to ensure compliance with established rules and regulations; operate radio and two-way communications as needed to alert equipment operators of suspicious activity or waste loads.
Address public concerns; inform the public of landfill requirements and fees; resolve issues face-to-face or seek supervisory assistance.
Assist with special construction and maintenance projects undertaken within the landfill. May provide physical or equipment labor related to cutting grades, modifying drainage systems or installing protective liners to protect ground water, etc.;
Operate equipment to assist in stockpiling dirt, asphalt, gravel and various materials used in road and landfill construction and maintenance.
Ability to maintain regular, reliable patterns in work product and attendance according to Bonneville County's expectations.
Perform other job-related duties (including general labor) as assigned or required.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Education and Experience:
A. Graduation from high school or equivalent

B. Five (5) years of experience in operation and maintenance of medium and heavy equipment

Considerable knowledge of the principles and techniques of heavy mechanized equipment operations; DEQ regulations. Position Summary:
Plows, grades, and maintains Schweitzer Mountain Resort roads and parking lots. Day, swing and graveyard shifts. Although defined as full time, working hours will be dictated by weather events and steady 40 hour work weeks are not guaranteed. Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment such as trommels, loaders, excavators, and telehandlers safely and efficiently for the processing, transfer, and storage of materials.
Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure proper functionality, cleanliness, and compliance with safety standards.
Monitor production operations to ensure deadlines are met while adhering to safety and quality requirements outlined in Timber Creek Recyclings Operations Plan.
Perform regular equipment inspections and document findings in compliance with company standards.
Continuously maintain and organize the work area, adhering to good manufacturing practices.
Report any equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or quality issues promptly to the supervisor or Production Manager.
Perform other duties as assigned to support site operations.
Qualifications
Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as trommels, loaders, excavators, crushers, and grinders in an industrial, construction, or recycling setting.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 55 pounds above shoulder height, stand, walk, twist, and move for extended periods (up to 12 hours).
Strong knowledge of material screening, manufacturing processes, and heavy equipment maintenance.
Proficient oral and written communication skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while meeting performance and safety standards.
A track record of reliable attendance and adherence to safety protocols.
Valid CDL, Class A/B desired.

Under general supervision, you'll keep products moving through our refrigerated warehouse-safely, accurately, and on time. You'll work with a range of powered industrial equipment and radio-frequency tools to receive, store, and ship food products for customers who feed communities every day.
A day in your role
Start your shift with a safety check, then load and unload freight using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, stand-up straddle trucks, walk-behinds, pallet jacks, and double pallet jacks.
Move inventory to designated locations, stack and store merchandise, and use RF to track accuracy.
Pick, assemble, label, sort, wrap, pack, and repack orders for shipment-verifying freight for accuracy, visible damage, or infestation.
Operate to OSHA standards at all times and help maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area.
Pitch in where needed: inventory counts, housekeeping, forklift battery changes, and other tasks outside normal responsibilities as business needs arise.
